I know it's not a bad quality car by the numbers, but you'll be hard pressed to shake the "economy car stigma" that comes with that H-Badge. You'll look like you're buying cheap champagne in a fancy bottle.

The cars they are making now are real nice though. But what they needed to do is rebrand the high end vehicles. Like Acura or Lexus.
they need to seperate themselves from that old stigma that hyundai USED TO have.

Ain't no way I'm spending 50G's on a fukkin HYUNDAI, eventhough it may be better equiped, better build and more reliable than a BMW, its the fukkin principle of it lol

I'm fukkin with that in a heartbeat. I was up on the Equus when I saw it at the auto show years ago like

Hyundai and Kia are gonna start making their own luxury lane. They might not ever get up there is stature as far as the Benz, Audi, BMW but I think it could at its peak start taking bread away from Infiniti, Acura and Lexus (2nd tier luxury)

at rebranding for luxury. Genuis.
