I’m just going by what was inferred in the interview.

Conway didn’t have much good to say about the Shady situation. He pretty much said he got no money and that the “big” artists he’d done songs with he couldn’t get cleared.

This is probably where the Griselda contract situation came in because he said in another interview that Westside Gunn was getting into it with Shady which might have contributed to the delay of his album, Like I said he contradicted himself because he’s happy they cleared samples for him. Also, the label has to justify spending a lot of money clearing every sample for an artist who historically hasn’t sold millions of records.

HipHopDX: You obviously got to work with Eminem on the single “Bang.” How much of a relationship have you developed with Em? Have you had any deep discussions with him or learned any lessons?

Conway: Absolutely. We had some talks. We kicked it a few times. I went up there to Detroit and holla’d at him. I seen him kicking it backstage at some shows and shyt. I always try to get a little lesson or jewel or gem, a tip, some advice, some encouragement.

I’m like a sponge, so I kind of already do that with everybody. But I definitely I wanted to do that with him because it’s Eminem. He’s one of the biggest artists ever — biggest-selling artist ever and one of the most dope lyricists ever. So, I’m really big on lyricism. I know he’s big on lyricism. With him and the same thing with Royce Da 5’9, I want to learn as much as I can from them boys. It’s conversations and talks. And mostly, it’s just what can I do to get better? How can I get better at this craft? And I just watch and learn from them two in particular. I fukk with them nikkas.

New Interview: Conway talks learning from Eminem, Shady Records debut & more

Conway is a very emotional person. Understandable due to all the shyt he's been though... But I seen this coming. Gunn is emotional too so he might go straight to dissing.

Mach left cause West tried to charge Fahim for verse and he took Fah's side. Before that was because he tried selling HBO for hundreds and West wasn't feeling it. For Pray for Haiti him Fah and Droog saw Gunn at a hotel and Hus made a comment and they torched him on Gunnday 4 and started working on the album.

It's a bad look for Conway to do this. This wasn't done by mistake either.

Oh most definitely. He made it a point to say he wanted to sort out the Griselda contract first before he entertained new deals going forward.
Conway and Westside Gunn complain about everything, so it’s hard to have sympathy for them.

Always complaining about something..

I mentioned they’d fallen out a couple of years back re paper/paperwork and got flamed on here.

Birds will be birds.
The thing is that these dudes are at least professional enough to not beef in public. I've thought for a while now that everything between the main 3 members wasn't 100% as good as it used to be. But the 3 of them are blood relatives, in their 30's, and are smart enough to not do dumb shyt like air out their personal differences in public.

For as much as people have (rightfully) clowned some of their social media behavior, I honestly believe there's probably stuff between them that they've been very smart about in terms of not speaking about it in the public eye.

God Don't Make Mistakes and Tana Talk 4 definitely feel like the ending of "Chapter 2 of Griselda."

EDIT: (Chapter 1 being the Hall Nash/Griselda Ghost/Flygod/Reject 2/Don't Get Scared Now era when Mach was signed before Benny...and Chapter 2 being the era of the Shady signing, GOAT through GDMM, TT3 through TT4, Supreme Blientelle through Hermes 8, WWCD, and the signing of Boldy James and Armani Caesar). I feel like Chapter 3 is about to start (Benny moves forward with Def Jam and BSF, Conway moves forward with Drumwork, and West continues to move the GxFR label forward with even more signings like Rome Streetz, The Heartbreakers production team, and probably Stove God Cooks, and then curated albums by West for Larry June and Jay Worthy, Boldy James, and more BoldChemist projects)
