What real money could Conway be making anyway with that Griselda contract? They ain't selling no records and every artist is getting fukked by streaming services so he's making chump change on that. They ain't getting song placements on radio or commerical so them royalties can't be making shyt.
Only decent money these guys can make is through live shows and maybe merch which he says in the video isn't part of the contract, so it doesn't sound like he's trapped in some 360 slave deal.

They make a killing off selling physicals, Vinyl, and merch. Especially at shows. They have a cult following.
In my opinion, they would do way better if they toured overseas.

Didn't they tour with the lox back before they got deals. Wouldn't you think somebody in the lox would tell them to read a contract before signing it

at some point the artists are just as complacent as the industry.
That’s why the industry focuses on super young people who are in desperate financial situations, they won’t even read what they’re signing. Conway was a grown man when he signed though, was he not?
Yeah but at a certain age when you’re in a desperate situation, you accept that you’re making a short term move that will probably hurt you in the long term, therefore you can’t complain. It’s why people feel sympathy for kids who take out student loans at 18 and end up without jobs but nobody would give a fukk if you did it at 35
