this and "cant nobody hold me down" were songs that everybody knew word for word. you were a certified herb if you didn't know them chit.

I wasn't a fan. i had a love/hate relationship with bad boy, depending on my mood that particular day. but bad boy basically defined those 7th & 8th grade years. their music was the back-drop.

plus my best friend at the time, his cousin was some sort of bad boy intern or he was on the street team or something. they used to get on my nerves with all that bad boy pretty chit.

I didn't exactly lose my mind, but it was a :banderas: moment. That song came at a time when I really wanted to dislike Diddy, but that Bad Boy run in 1997 made it near impossible. It was just banger after banger that whole year. When I heard "Victory" for the first time, I was :mindblown:. That beat, Biggie's verses, and Busta was just...

The flow is just.............................. :blessed:

My team supreme, stay clean
Triple beam lyrical dream,I be that
Cat you see at all events bent

Gats in holsters, girls on shoulders
Playboy, I told ya, mere mics to me
Bruise too much, I lose too much

and mase's "feel so good" was another one.

notorious thugs was huge as well, but actually reciting the lyrics was left to a selected few, of course.

like dude said, they had hit after hit.

Was in 5th grade at the time.bad boy had that throw ya hands up and vibe game on lock.

8th grade that cash money/ruff Ryder's movement in 99-2000 was domination hit after hit every six weeks, forreal. I started burning CDs at that time and cash money and rough Ryder's hits could fill up at least on CD.

Yo, unpopular opinion but I always felt that song was wack as fukk. I could never stand those bad boy era fake record scratches too.

I loved this song.

but i'll meet you halfway. I hated "hypnotize". and I think "victory" is one of the most overrated rap songs ever. also, "i'll be missing you" is wack-juice but that's not an un-popular opinion.
