My homeboy at the time had the DJ Clue "Show Me The Money" mix cd.

I was like "you got a mixtape on CD?" :mindblown:

He was like "listen to this new Bad Boy joint" :youngsabo:

As soon as Mase started rapping...

Born and raised in NYC, got shipped out to riverside CA for one summer because my mom had TDY in Korea, 1st time on the west coast and this song was RINGIN HARD out there, I'll never forget the grown folks that was watching me didn't even allow rap music in they house and they would be singin that shyt:takedat:

Song was a monster, especially in that time when I was out there thinking there was some real coast beef I found out nikkas was fukking with that, and the whole life after death heavy out there..

I loved this song.

but i'll meet you halfway. I hated "hypnotize". and I think "victory" is one of the most overrated rap songs ever. also, "i'll be missing you" is wack-juice but that's not an un-popular opinion.
Victory is mad overrated. Ironically the part I like about that song is Diddy's verse. That ending line was too cold.

Where? This song gets the diddy bop action anytime it's played from all races, especially if you were in 4th/5th grade - college when this dropped
:deadrose:

Yeah, a niggga would actually pretend to know how to skate at the rink to this joint. Niggga'll push off the wall and hit a quick 1-2 while rollin' to a complete stop :hmm:
