I don't see how, when worse players from previous eras have been voted an All-Star - even during Rod's time in the league.

Yeah I know that, I meant in general, some AS selections are absurd (indeed like the guys you listed), it shows how much one cannot rely on All-Star selections or whatever to say "this guy is better than that guy" or "this era is better than that era". Which leads some brehs to saying Dwight is a better defender than Hakeem, Rodman or Zo, because Dwight won more DPOYs :beli:

I don't see how anyone can deny this...like the NFL the rules have become tighter in regards to contact.

In the 70s, 80s and 90s there were just hits and plays that you could never get away with in today's leagues. It kept A LOT of people in check back then.

Larry talked trash on the court but he was always humble. Routinely said Magic was better than him and called Michael Jordan "God" while playing against him. Plus he's the president of a young team currently so he has a vested interest in supporting the current game.
":mjlol: at this spin. "

That's what y'all dudes say isn't it?

The 80s had nothing but light weights who were scoring in bunches .

Kelly Tripuka was a 27 ppg scorer for Christ sakes

Well if you're stretching it to the likes of Bibby -

Curry
Westbrook
Paul
Kyrie
Wall
Lillard
Lowry
Kemba

That list is by far better than that bullshyt you listed from the '00s - it's not even close. This is not to mention, when Curry, Westbrook and CP retire - they'll all have strong cases for being top 5 at the PG position.

Yup I agree with that. The only Top 5 point guards of all time set in stone are Robertson, Magic, and Isiah Thomas
