Same shyt happened to me for a decade lost interest and randomly found WWE 2k games on sale and became hooked. Mainly for the attitude era and WCW characters. It takes me back I’m still on ps4 and the switch though.

Play the Batman series on PC. Its so much fun, it got me back into PC gaming. Feels like you are in a Batman movie and you are the main character.

Nah son. Not even close. There's a reason the genesis classic flopped. And a reason they just made it a game- Sega genesis classics for Xbox/playstation and switch. And a reason it's only $30 and not because everyone is playing it. I swear I saw a Sega genesis classic at Walgreens too.

Sega was fun, but it wasn't no master race.

If you want a decent modern console, go for a PS4. They have a very scarce quantity PS5 out, but that won't become relevant for another 2 years at least. With PS4 you have good quality, easy to get online games, and a nice games catalog.

PS4 also has Playstation Now that lets you stream a bunch of different games for a low monthly fee on top of just buying discs or digital downloads. Goin digital can be pretty cheap too because there are constant discounts and sales going on with their online store. That's a pretty good start OP.

I think gamepass might have a better selection of games but fortunately he can look at the full list of games and see what he likes.

I'm installing a bunch of games right now on the Xbox series X. Ps5 is coming and that's going to sit in the fukking box because there's no games.

Like you said it won't be relevant for a while, to be honest and XsX ain't relevant either (I only really have it for flight simulator). So if you can cop and Xbox 1 or 1s and get gamepass or a ps4 and ps+ you should be fine.

What gaming system do you guys recommend?

Its one of those days when i want to take an edible and play game until 2am in the morning

I recommend the Nintendo Switch.

It's less expensive compared to the other options. Its handheld mode also makes it very practical for quick play and short sessions, without taking away the possibility to play for extended periods of time.

Its online shop also has a large library with varied offers.

I wouldn't recommend it if you want to play FPS or online, though.
