Get a ps4 or xbox one with game pass (bunch of games you can download)
I am 33 years of age, haven't played a video game in over 4 years and NOW want to get into gaming

Truth. I got the offer from Sony to jump in a 'special' queue to get a PS5, but even that shyt was laggy, and there was no point. Everybody I know with one uses it like a streaming box. I was big on Xbox and waiting for the SeriesX, but them Playstation exclusives (God of War) really highlighted the difference between the platforms for me.
I'm extremely heated. But it's my fault. I knew well beforehand about the transition period where they make games for Xbox 1 and ps4 then port them, but a few cats I work with were like "oohhh the dualsense, the dualsense!!!!! On call of duty you can feeeeeel the trigger pull!!!!!"
That bullshyt is on one game and hasn't been used since.
. Plus Xbox has the tech on Xbox 1 and there's some smaller puzzle like games that use it otherwise it ain't even implemented. I'm just keeping up with the Jones' at this point.

Genesis classics was out for PS3 long before it was a system sold in stores
Plus they didn’t put hardly any of the good Genesis games on there except Sonic and I think SOR

Take PS2 iso and turn it into a PKG.
Put it on a flash drive.
Load up the PKG on your PS3

It’s not really hard or complicated. It’s just that there’s a lot of spam vids out there that could confuse you.
All you really need is a PS3 that’s below 3.55 firmware (most aren’t, those that are need to be flashed, which is a big deal for nothing considering you can just buy one that’s already pre-jailbroken on eBay)
