Now that I have a break I can add in details I missed.

The chick dude hit he was smashing and they fell out. She had a roommate that he was cool with too but she kinda turned on him. So it was dumb of us to bring him but we told them and they were cool. But when we got there females are gonna be females and the next thing you know it was on.

There were other witnesses besides us and security saw it go down from afar but Terrence ran before they got there. The police were called and everyone had to give a statement but me. I guess everyone was in agreement on what happened but charges weren't filed because the police said ol girl would go to jail for pulling the knife.
So after all that it was agreed that we'd let it die. But then Terrence almost fought this dude who works with us and he convinced the other chick to tell.

As far as me cracking goes they said they had all the evidence needed to identify us from security and the police report. If they weren't satisfied with our statements they would administer polygraph tests. Terrence had to take one later and he failed. You get fired when you fail a government polygraph test. Someone else got fired for lying on one when trying to switch agencies.

Taking care of my mom I couldn't lose my job over BS. Still I hate myself for doing it. It's definitely lose lose

Bruh if the case was years old then the witness testimony could have been ripped to shreds by any decent lawyer. If you ask me from the sound of it all you had to do was keep quiet and stick to the story like other dude did and they couldn't have done anything.

I'm saying, three years ago? And they didnt take a statement from you when it happened? You could've told them to get fukked. I've been investigated by my previous job for several incidents and I never got fired because I didn't "know" anything and I never brought anybody else's name into situations which would potentially cause them to be questioned. Always do dirt by yourself and tell no one of your actions. Investigators rarely know anything and just guilt you into providing information or snitching on yourself and others. Watch First 48, they do that shyt to nikkaz all the time.

All you guys had to say is what exactly happened minus the "we was in uniform". Thats the only real issue the company can take against you, but you let them bring it up not you. If they did bring it up, just deny, deny, deny that ya'll was in uniform, and if they ask you why would she lie about the uniform, just be like, she just saying that because she knows where yall work and trying to get yall in trouble. Your mans was in a self defense scenario which had nothing to do with his job, except for the fact that he was in uniform. Take that out and they have no case.

pretty much, i learned that years ago when i got arrested, cops were telling me how they had a confession and knew everything, but they would tell the judge to go easy on me and not take me to jailf or the weekend if i told them what they wanted to hear

The I don't remember doesn't work in this case. To prosecute me for lying they have to PROVE I'm lying. To fire me they just have to feel I'm lying based upon the evidence they may already have.

And this investigation happened a year and a half ago. So it had only been a year and some change since the incident itself when I was interviewed.

You all watch too much first 48. All of the tactics you mention protect from prosecution, not termination. Failure to cooperate would have resulted in termination. Failure to submit to a polygraph results in termination.

Also, I never said we were in uniform. I denied that. I also didn't mention the fact he hit her after my other co worker took the knife. All the other information was cobbled together from other statements.

And there's a difference between telling someone you know everything and them actually laying out the whole situation and the background of everyone involved.

I feel bad I told what I did. But at some point nikkas have to be responsible for their own actions. I lied as long as I could.
