And these weren't regular cops. These were federal agents from within the agency. So they definitely have the power to threaten my job. And go through with them.

They already said they would investigate my co worker who stood his ground for lying to them. If I lied too and dude still got fired I'd probably be next. At the end of the day I have to do what's best for me.

People mention lawyers like I can get a good one at the dollar store. If I got fired it takes a long time to fight a wrongful termination. I'm literally my family. I have no one to lean on. Both mom and brother were staying with me. We'd be homeless fighting a case like that.

I know loyalty is prized but so is stability. I dodged one investigation, they weren't going to let me by on this one.

I'm not saying what you did was wrong, but I still think they wouldn't have done shyt if you would've stuck to the script like other dude. You should've got your union involved, that's what they're there for. At the end of the day you had to do what's best for your mom's which is understandable, I'm not gonna look down on you and talk shyt and call you a snitch because of it.

Oh and I didn't cry because I was intimidated. I cried because I was disgusted with myself. I wasn't boo hooing but a few tears were streaming.

But on the flip side I could be angry at him for putting me and the other dude in a position to lost our jobs. But hey, shyt happens. He felt he needed to smack her. Eventually the time came where I couldn't protect him.

I haven't felt this bad in awhile. A man is about to lose his job because of me. A man with a wife and kids.

Long story short, 3 years ago we went to some chicks house to chill after work. In uniform.

It was me, the guy that's getting fired and another co worker. Well the one who's getting the axe punched this chick after she pulled a knife. We all vowed to keep it between us though.

Fast forward several months and this gay dude whom Terrence (the puncher) was beefing with convinced the chick to tell TSA mgmt. An in airport investigation was launched but we wouldn't talk so they dropped it.

Eventually Terrence gets promoted and goes to another airport. He gets into trouble there and while they investigate that incident they reopen the assault case.

Now we have to speak to a special agent. Real law enforcement. The guy basically says he has all the evidence but he wants witness statements to verify some loose ends. If we lie we get fired and prosecuted.

I lie anyway. For two hours I lied. Until finally the CACs made me crack. I shed a few tears as I ratted out my co worker.

My other coworker denied it all the way through. I figured since our stories didn't match it'd be a wash. And it was. So we thought. Eventually it all blew over until this week.

The other coworkers girlfriend said that Terrence is getting fired for that incident from three years ago. I feel like shyt. And she basically hinted it was due to my statement.

So now he's getting fired and my other co worker may be in jeopardy too.

I feel like scum. A black man is losing his job because of me.

If it was that serious why didn't you get a lawyer? I was always advised by the older heads never to go in a room full of cops without a lawyer.They can make you believe and say shyt that never even happened.
