Got some almond and red pepper pesto from Trader Joe’s, mixed it w/ some brown sugar, cayenne powder and chicken stock and put it in the rice. It was almost as good as jollof. And I just put the pork chops in the air fryer, after searing them. Used orange pepper seasoning and garlic/onion powder

Going for just carbonation/low fermentation, or trying to make some actual alcohol?

All of the above, I’ll make the ginger bug ferment for a few days, then strain some out for a proper carbonation then leave the rest to ferment to see what the ABV I end up with.

Anyone know how to make good chocolate chip cookies?

I was in NYC last week and missed going to Levain, apparently the place to get the best cookies in NYC

Levain is good, but mostly because it's a big ass cookie. The cookie itself will be good when cold because the center is 99% cooked but still soft.

My go to for office potlucks

The only thing I change is to mix up the chocolates. Dark is cool, but gotta throw some milk chocolate in there as well.

Brehs i'm tired of cooking right now. What's a good dish you can make ahead. Maybe cool/freeze and eat two or three times over 10 days.
