And, now, inconclusive, because a current NFL supervisor of officials has acknowledged that some footballs are defective, when it comes to keeping air inside them.

“These are man-made products,” Central Region supervisor of officials Gary Slaughter said during a via to the Steelers, via Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “There is a bladder and a valve. We have all checked them for many years. Sometimes when you check the ball in the locker room right out of the box, there could be a problem. They could have a slow leak, and you wouldn’t even know it at the time.”

Skip is a known Brady dikk sucker just like OP

watch out breh, you about to get washed away by the tide. even Schefter is sounding the alarm

“First of all, I’ve never had in-depth conversations with Chris about the story,” Schefter said. “Chris is as good a reporter as there is. And he’s been a pioneer in this industry. So when he decides to do things, he has a reason for doing them. And I’ll just stand behind him as a reporter and as a man. I love him.

“And I don’t know the particulars of what happened. I really don’t, OK?. But I can tell you this, somebody wanted information out. You’re blaming him. But I will say this. Number one, I’m sure he has an explanation. Number two, any reporter in the country, if they have high level people calling them, giving them this information, almost anyone’s gonna run with it.”

In other words, someone lied to Mortensen.

Mort was used like a bus seat by LANE KIFFIN during his last months as a Raider coach too...and AL DAVIS exposed that...

:ohhh::ohhh: ...espn been doing the nfl's dirty work for a long time :wow: and they still get shyt monday night games :mjlol:

meanwhile in other news...
In today's scandal-less scandal, fans couldn't find Mike Kensil, the supposed Patient Zero from the league headquarters, on the NFL's Operations website. Kensil, Vice President of Game Operations, was still available on the website, but the notion that Kensil had been fired by the league spread like wildfire.

Greg Aiello, the NFL's PR person, quickly corrected the false report to ensure that everyone was aware that Kensil's status in the league "hasn't changed." The NFL snuffed out a dumb report within 12 hours to ensure one of their employees wasn't caught in the crossfire.

This approach runs counter to how the league approached DeflateGate, where the league intentionally withheld crucial information that could have corrected a false report that damaged the brand of the New England Patriots and started the dumbest "scandal" the sports world has ever seen.

The correction from the NFL is just another step by the league to correct misinformation that is damaging to the league's reputation, in stark contract to how they handled the Patriots requests to correct ESPN's false reports. This hypocrisy is starting to finally make headlines as the league's shoddy approach to the investigation is reaching critical mass. The NFL clearly lacked standards and imprinted an obvious bias on each step of the process.

I wonder if P*ts fans are ever going to realize that if they were fans of any other team other than the P*ts, they'd be joining in on the hate just as hard

:mjlol: You can hate all you want we really don't care. We have facts on our side. You guys have a public relations screw job from the NFL :mjlol:

The more threads i read, the more I'm convinced patriot stans are more delusional than lakerstans. The amount of reaching patriot stans have done to argue that the other side is reaching is pure recursive illogic. Instead of addressing evidence, all I've seen is attacks on motivation and a fixation on tangential evidence that doesn't support either side.

Weren't some of you claiming A. Hernandez was going to get off :beli:

madder fact, speaking of facts how about some science :leon:

5. I don’t know who will prevail in this case, but the NFL has some major, major holes here. Any judge looking at the evidence is going to be suspicious of the circumstantial evidence around Brady. But there’s a good chance he’d be as suspicious of the things the NFL took as fact here. This is important: Officials used two gauges at halftime of the AFC Championship Game to measure air pressure in 11 New England footballs and four Indianapolis footballs. On page 113 of the Wells report, Wells says that the Patriots footballs would have been justified to have measured between 11.32 psi and 11.52 psi at halftime. The average of one gauge for the 11 balls was 11.49 psi, on the upper range of what the balls should have measured. The average of the other gauge was 11.11 psi, clearly lower than what the balls should have measured. Average all 22 readings, and you get 11.30 … two-one-hundredths lower than what the Ideal Gas Law would have allowed for balls that started the day at 12.5 psi. It is crazy to me, and just wrong, that the NFL issued a historic sanction when the inflation level of the football is so close to what science says it should be.

maybe you reading the wrong threads. all you need is this one here to see the shift in the tide. none of this is coming from pats posters, rather the media such as the washington post :francis:

Wells never asked for Tom Brady’s cellphone and didn’t require it. “Keep the phone,” Wells told Brady and his agent. He insisted his investigation was thorough without it. “I don’t think it undermines in any way the conclusions of the report,” he said. Those were his exact words. So were these, after interrogating Brady for more than five hours: “Totally cooperative,” Wells said of Brady’s testimony.

Yet somehow Goodell found Brady guilty of lack of cooperation and willful destruction of evidence on appeal, all because he upgraded to an iPhone 6?

I had to lol at the bolded. Every single independent agency/investigator/scientist has basically said the NFL and Wells were full of bullshyt and their stories didn't add up. But hey, keep believing the NFL :beli:

And why does that matter in this context, assuming those are independent reviewers in the first place? I see alot of lay opinions on evidentiary matters, opinions that are way off base. I see criticism of circumstantial evidence (which is actually often more reliable than direct evidence) at the same time i see circumstantial EVIDENCE regarding MOTIVATION

This has gotten really stupid.

DeflateGate’s real issue: Due process

:safuture:

You sure she's piecing this together correctly? Previous sources stated that Wells only agreed that the cell phone not be produced but that it's contents relevant to the investigation be produced on the honor system. It was further stated that this informal request for discovery was REFUSED.

My point is this, stop turning to every fukking idiot and every idiotic source to support your agenda when their arguments are weaker than the arguments they are criticizing. I'm guessing you are not an attorney but you're going to have to learn nuance when dealing with disputes of this sort.
