This motherfukker got rain made, made enemies with Omar, and got shot for his own stupidity - then wants to criticize a guy whose got the streets on lock with slim Charles when he steps out of jail in 5-7 :gucci:

I assumed that Avon still remained on top at the end of season 5 due to slim getting the connect. “The King stays king”

All I know is Avon thought it was a good idea to send a nikka who was a reformed gangsta out to war and they got sent packing
All I know is Avon thought everybody was a simp for p*ssy and got his plan folded up when Marlo saw the play coming from a mile away

plenty of blame to go around
naw it was the clowns moving early that got them clipped. Had they stuck to the script the "reformed killer" would have carried out the mission. Wed see him and slim still rocking together. Plus he wouldn't have had the opportunity to 2nd guess himself. Cutty gained even more respect by standing on his hill and stepping to Avon. That's why Von blessed him. And still said he was a G.

Marlo did fall for the p*ssy. I dont remember how he ended up getting the drop in that situation but we can discuss that also... Avon wasnt perfect but String continously miscalculated and held most of the blame for their downfall. All the real soldiers were lost behind his fukkups. He repeatedly poked the Hornets nest with Omar. And should have had Marlo killed when they met. String looked out for himself, everyone else was about the crew. He flipped D and left him with his back against the wall. IMO all chinks in their armor String had a hand in it. Wasnt he responsible for Butch also?

Not knocking you, I appreciate the dialogue and the fact that we can still debate this the way we are speaks to the excellence of the show.

Marlo didn't get the drop on them Chris did. Chris got to the spot Marlo was supposed to meet her at early and saw her get the money from Avon

The Barksdales were going down either way…whether due to inferior product to the east side, string’s nonsense or Avon’s refusal to kill flimsy ass D’Angelo. D’Angelo was becoming more of a wild card by the day. Could you imagine the carnage D’Angelo causes when he eventually snitched???

Snitch about what? Avon planting drugs on a c.o.? Ain't shiit else he could've said, he was out the fold. Marlo had inferior product and became king because of his muscle and got the better pack. Avon would've done the same

Mannnnnnn :russ:

You leaving WAYYY too much to chance. The one Hail Mary worked with his mother. I highly doubt that was a move to make again the next time he felt like snitching. You are leaving si much to chance leaving him alive. The Barksdales were killing potential witnesses for much less. If D wasn’t family Avon would have had him killed like anyone else. D was a blind spot
