Feel like I need to put in my two cents....but........ Fukk that uneducated buffoon, Cheese. Scariest thing in America is a Black man with a library card.
Real talk, String was about using money to move up the social ladder and gain influence and "juice." He aspired to something higher but didn't realize how much work it would take to get there. It's like a dude growing up running track in Jamaica and then decides he wants to be an NFL quarterback.
Avon didn't care about money...he just liked the hunt, the scheming and plotting shyt. Both of them dudes could have just retired and lived well but the reason they were successful in the first place was the drive to win.
Marlo just got lucky he was rising up when there was beef going on. Barksdale's were barely functional and Slim almost got Marlo before he even really got big time. Barksdale's at 100%? Ain't no Marlo.
