A relationship is suppose to be about a spiritual connection and being whole as a unit. Success does matter because when you get married it's a business. However, there's yin and yang.
If every chick was low maintenance with excessive body hair, poor hygiene and letting their bodies go and only cooking you top ramen every night, shopping for clothes at K Mart and thrift stores, with no ambition and low goals, you'd be complaining more.

Money is the cause of a lot of failed relationships (not just romantic) and friendships. You need money unfortunately. Nothing is really free. You must survive. Even where I'm at the homeless shelters charge for spots (around $16) daily. How are you homeless and broke but gotta pay for a place to lay down? Its tough out here. This is the real world.
A lot of women were homeless or struggling financially and don't wanna EVER go through that again.
I never said anything was free. However, wanting the most expensive sh-t really isn't necessary. You just start loving the material things and not the person.
P.S. babygirl, I live in the real world where I struggle with spirituality and being a Black man in the United States (who's been suicidal before). Trust me, I know baby girl.
I'm telling you where the insecurities of money hungry Black women come from. Being poor and broke is traumatizing. Being hungry and going without and constantly having set backs due to financial hardship is depressing. Poverty isn't pretty. A lot of women also get put off on men as girls by their parents just for the financial security with the families. Forced at young ages to grow up fast. That's why they 'trap' certain guys with intentional pregnancies.
