I can't support anyone on here who is "pro-black community" but anti-marriage

do you need that business contract to have a strong identifiable father IN the home?

Fathers are more likely to be in the home when that contract is there. Don't believe me, look it up. Not only that divorced fathers are more likely to have a greater active role in their kids life after a divorce than a father who was never married to the mother after they break up.

:upsetfavre:I don't see the importance of including the race bit in there but w/e

Marriage in itself is not what it used to be, however at the same time ; it has not changed at all.
The idea of Getting married because "It's the right thing to do", is completely stupid. The statistics of people staying together and actually being happy are humorous.

I'm not into getting married at all and i'm a female, so I mean all that talk about guys being the ones who don't wanna get married you can squash that. Marriage in itself just is completely overrated and should be saved for the right time, person and situation.

You can live with someone, be it someone of your race or not. Live happily ever after with kids and a house a fluffy dog, without a court document and some lousy ring.

this is slut shaming for men, or wedding shaming, or whatever the hell you want to call it.

and like i've said a dozen times. that piece of paper is a business contract, it leaves men on the short end of the stick.

How?

From what I've read, men choose the short end of the stick. They don't ask for alimony when they're entitled to it, they turn it down out of "embarrassment", they marry women that make nothing or a lot less than them, they ask their wives to stop working and stay at home with the kids. Yall always say "men don't care about how much money women make" not realizing that you should care.

imo, if a man wasn't planning to leave me after we had children, he wouldn't have a problem with marrying me.

thats easy for you to say when you're 70% likely to initiate the divorce :heh:

and all that stuff you mentioned can be avoided by simply not marrying them. :chloey:

A judge is not giving a grown ass man alimony.

Men do get alimony. A lot more would get it if they asked for it/didn't turn it down.

So you think it's smart for a woman to have children with a man that doesn't want to marry her? Why do you call single mothers scum then? Those women had children with men that didn't want to marry them.

I wish the women in the black community would be as adamant about this marry me philosophy in real life as the coli queens are here.
If you waited for the ring and paper before spreading your legs and dropping a child, it probably would help cull the disproportionate OOW birth rate AA continue to post in comparison to other races.
That may help the community out as a whole in the long term.
Just maybe.

we have to go over the definition of single parent again?

sin·gle par·ent
noun
noun: single parent; plural noun: single parents; modifier noun: single-parent
  1. a person bringing up a child or children without a partner.

as for the first question, i understand women are looking out for their FINANCIAL security through marriage. which is whats annoying discussing this shyt with women. y'all try to pretend its all about love and commitment, ignoring your true intentions behind wanting that business contract.

so no, i dont think its smart for women to have children with men that refuses to marry them. if i were a chick, i'd be advocating for marriage too. but i'm a guy, and i understand how proper we get fukked in the courts. so, hey :yeshrug: sticking w/my gender on this one
