McRib is similar to salisbury steak.

It's nothing but a cheap quality cubed (hamburger like) beef (sometimes pork added in for filler) steak shaped in the form of a rib drenched in BBQ sauce. They sell dollar branded rib sandwiches in freezer sections at Family Dollar/Dollar Tree etc.

Bottom line is that it's garbage.
