Draft and stash strat, I feel you. Treating fat chicks like the San Antonio Spurs used to treat 6'10 Europeans who first picked up a basketball at 14 years old but have the potential to become ballers.
:laff:Post of the year and it’s only June

With the 64th pick in the 2007 NBA draft, the Spurs take Solemona Zubowski out of Ser…Fitness one looking ass. :russ:

My only problem is the whole ‘weight training burns more fat’ has been b*stardized

Yea it’s true to an extent but weight training is also easier than cardio and it’s tailor made for lazy-ish women. There’s a place for non steady state cardio. Do a burpee. Join a dance class. I see far too many women in the gym with a lift routine that’s setting them up to have a wrestler body. Baby girl doin shoulder shrugs not losin a lick of weight but now she got traps
Ngl, I've noticed this at the gym especially with Latinas.

They do all kinds of shyt from deadlifts to squats to working a little on the heavy bag but you'll rarely catch them in a spin class or doing anything of note on the treadmill.

Sistas are usually pretty balanced. A little bit of cardio, some free weights and machine weights with stretching.

Pawgs the most consistent and varied between different kinds of cardio and weight routines.

Indian/Pakistani women are the WOAT at working out. That's why they look OK young but fall off a cliff with age. They don't even try. No weights, slow walk on the treadmill and elliptical. Not sure why they're almost anti-athletics.

The gym is to tone and gain strength/muscle.

The real key to weight loss is diet.

You can work out 24/7 but if the diet ain’t tight, you’re wasting your time.

I thought I was the only one that noticed these trends. LOL

As I live in the UK I can't say much about 'Latinas' (be they Euro, Mestizo, Mulatto, Afro, etc) as there aren't that many of them in the UK. However, It's more or less the same with the others. I'll elaborate on what I see different ethnicities of women do at the gym.

Black women (the few that do go to the gym) - Tend to be balanced between cardio and weight training. Their cardio tends to be using stairmasters, ellipticals and the treadmill. They tend to mainly use weight machines (but not the leg press), and sometimes they'll use free weights for deadlifts and squats but that's about it. It's also dependent on age and ethnicity (e.g. Jamaican, Nigerian, Ghanaian, etc).

White women - They are the most consistent and varied with their gym activities. They will do it all when it comes to cardio, callisthenics and weight training. All types of weight machines including leg press.
All types of free weights including bench press.
All types of callisthenics except for pull ups.
All types of cardio machines and workouts except for the ropes and heavy bag work (this applies to most women regardless of race. ethnicity, etc).
Of course, this also depends on age and ethnicity (e.g. Eastern Euro women tend to be more weights focused as they tend to go to the gym with their Eastern Euro boyfriends or husbands)

South Asian/Desi women - Their workout routines are usually trash. Hardly any weight training or callisthenics. Just cardio, mainly slow walks on the treadmill, the elliptical and maybe the bike machines now and then. However, there is one South Asian chick at my gym that properly works out. She does it all. I must note that she does have a personal trainer. She's cute too.

UK Mulattas - In between Black women and White women. Obviously. Yet I tend to see mulattas use the leg press machine more than black and white women. Weird.

When shopping and you see peanut butter in her basket, make sure to ask her if she's a dog or cat person. With that data, use your head for more than a hat rack.
