Nobody is mad about not paying him 47 million. What we are saying is that this doesn’t automatically mean our future will be better. A trade should have been done months ago if this was what you were going to do. The return investment is garbage. We’ll get a couple top 5 or 10 picks based on our ineptitude. But the Packers are now legit SB contenders which means those picks will be between 28-32 and this franchise is absolutely trash at picking players that late in the first round.
This trade makes the contract given to Dak even worse. This team will be lucky to win 10 games COMBINED for the next two seasons.

That way Dak can be like Burrow and never actually have to read a defense. If Chase / Ceedee are bracketed then Higgins / Pickens is in single coverage.
