No.one same thinks that. At best he's on the edges of top 30

Gasol in his prime was a top 5 big man and perennial allstar. No one ever claimed odom was a superstar
Was gasol a superstar? He was not perennial all star….Kris Middleton is an all star…so is Jrue

this may have been touched on earlier but its not even necessarily a direct shot at those who have formed superteams but at the critics prior to this season who were saying he couldnt do it in milwaukee. that he needed to request a trade or leave in free agency and that whole narrative that you have to leave for the easiest possible situation at the earliest time possible.

Unfortunately now you either need a super team or other top teams need to have multiple injured all stars. That’s what it’s been the last 5 years.

Only exception would be last years lakers. That team was very good, but not on the level of the super teams we’ve seen.

The Warriors (minus KD) weren't a superteam though..........

I don't consider them in the vein of other superteams (Brooklyn and Miami) because their star players were homegrown talent. Even then, other players can't bytch about them with KD as the only reason it became a viable option was because no one wanted to smooth the cap over and instead wanted the 1 year cap spike.

With regard to Gasol and allstar selections, the West frontcourts were stupid deep back then. Shiiit 03 Webber, Shaq and Dirk were allstar reserves behind DunGawd, KG and Yao. Same trio remained until 06. :wow:

Pau finally made it when Shaq got traded east. But I get the sentiment though. Phil did his thing with Pau to take him up another level.

Congrats to breh but Winning title when every team was injured he should just enjoy the moment

He too was injured.

If anything, talent was more balanced this playoff series and shows that superteams really dilute the product. I'll say though, I took good joy in the Nets getting tossed.

Glad to see him do it. :salute: Not to mention having less than what some other teams had (OKC, HOU come to mind) and still closing it out.

KD and Harden both been shytting on Giannis the last couple of years
KD got extra mad(not just usual twitter clapback mad) when someone exposed the shyt he said about Giannis in private
Most of the focus is on lames like CJ Mccollum tweeting slander but most of the NBA bag twitter boys been hating on Giannis and his game

Giannis was the one that actually started it with Harden. He was constantly subbing him, and even got to the point where leading up to the all star game, Giannis picked a bunch of “Harden stoppers”, guys which in the All star game were getting locked up by him (Giannis included), then once the game was over, Giannis was talking about “I’m just providing for my family and I love basketball”, and it sounded like he was gonna cry. Just so happens that Giannis eventually wins a ring two years later while Harden is injured and tries to play. People pretending this is something Harden started was pretty funny. That Harden vid was in response to MONTHS of Giannis pestering.
