Some of yall are clowna and continue to support rappers who dont give two shyts about their craft he knew he was doing a tribute to biggie all he had to do was practice for 48 hrs and play the lyrics but again that is too much to ask from nikkas who rap over their own vocals live and put no effort into their stageshow so continue to support these nikkas i mean 95% of rappers dont put anytime or effort into their craft from lyrics to stageshow
This right here is the point. You can find a person on the streets to recite a verse in 24 hours. Those young tenders were on stage killing all those Lil Kim verse :wow:.

But these remedial rap nikkas don't even try. They don't know how to try. He had no interest in providing a decent performance. Like somebody said in the other thread, Quan probably thought he was killing it just cuz he wore a Coogi...

Lupe was NOT listening to no Spice 1! Most if not all Bay Area records were too regional to even reach that far. That was a fukk boy ass excuse he gave to save his ass. Funny thing is, Spice 1 & Tribe Called Quest were on the same record label in the 90's HAHA

That's false. I live in east bum fukk Massachusetts and the bay had a huge following. Me and my crew of 12 year old lil white boys were heavy into e40 and spice1. Spice1 was huge back then. Not MTV platinum commercial huge but he had a cult. following. 187 He Wrote and Amerikkkas Nightmare stayed in rotation for years and still do. That's the only excuse Quan coulda gave to save face, I give him a pass now.

You are white or Native American and live in Montana.

I am native and grew up in northern California

I was 7 when pac died. My cousins and others were really crushed. That increase the hate for biggie. Blame it on the first wave of stannery :yeshrug:

Add that on top of my area being heavily gang / drug influenced. BIG dont relate to these people.

They had e40, Snoop, x raided, spice 1, DJ quick, suga free, mac Dre, bone thugs etc.

New York nikkas don't get that much love out here like that unless you work the computer well. ( Of course there's exceptions like DMX )

It wasn't like BIG was on the TV my whole life. Only a few songs really get radio spins.

That's how I got put on to Nas, the Internet.

I'm like the only Nas fan I know in real life. Especially in my age bracket.

I do have a couple of friends that think NY music is better than west coast. And both of them where desktop, forum, isolated lil brothers. BOTH hate nas.

So new York def has a presence online forum wise . That turnt out people. But in real life ? Nah breh .

Not my age bracket or younger.

Especially BIG.

Wait.

:ohhh:

One song we fukked with was the spit your game remix with Twista and Krazy bone.

diccride for daps brehs

breh i had a Down South rap thread yesterday. i prefer it and i'm speaking facts, the young rap dudes from the West and South got love for their OGs and the OGs are willing to hop on a track with them and show love. in NY it's crab in a barrel shyt, some old cats will get on a song with but it depends.
