This is why hip hop will never have the cache that rock and R&B and other genres have. The past decade and a half of stupidity set it back.

Could you imagine what a rap hall of fame ceremony would be like? People forgetting entire songs, rapping the wrong verse. :scust:

It just goes to show you the disconnect the younger generation has with the older generation. It also shows a lack of respect not only for your craft out for the ones that paved the way for him to make his living now

I blame the "I'm not a rapper" and the "get money" cats. Dudes look at rap/hip hop as a pure hustle now in days. At least a lot of the mainstream guys do.

Maybe did it on purpose. Dont get suprised, esp in this era. VH1 did need a boost for it since they brought it back & re-did the honors for women they already honored before. So ratings. Weird to see a lame wack dude like Rich Homie Quan do it, but maybe he did it purpoesly.
