I think you forgot to add that he f*cked up that he was a paster then came back to be a rapper...that's when nobody takes him serious especially then went back to be a pastor again then went to signed to G-Unit.......People have lost respect for him.

If he never became a pastor to being with then I think he would be doing all right.

Murda Mase. Vol 2 was the hottest Flex tape ever and probably one of the best commercial mixtapes (minus non-factor Veronica Webb's corny ass intro). Nas's freestyle was hot. shyt even Mary J Blige had a cute freestyle .

Harlem rappers in general rap with the most swag outta New York and they probably average the most syllables rhymed.

I just can't get how someone could say MaSe is an overall better rapper than Cam cause of a few verses before they popped. Especially when u factor in all the fire freestyles and verses Cam has dropped even when Mase fell off. Like I said before. There's levels Cam has reached wit his bars I've never seen Mase reach and when u factor in consistency and volume it's no contest. It's not just about career is literal dope verses I'm talkin bout.

The way Cam flipped his style into some whole other shyt in the early 2000's was crazy. nikka would spit a verse full of multis and metaphors and make the shyt sound like child's play. Just effortless.

Look at get em girls. The average listener thinks the rhymes might be funny at different parts, not realizing this nikka is rhyming damn near every syllable and is actually saying some shyt. Killa is one of the most gifted writer in rap history.

people who rate mase higher than cam are gateway badboy sellout rap fans who never really converted or learned about the culture, and never became part of the culture for real.
