Deep down, I know Minaj look at Doja’s body of work and feels musically that’s what she wanted to do.

But she has a hand in that production which I why I say overall, she got it. She's not the best in any of the categories but she ranks highly versus other female rappers in singing, rapping, songwriting, lyricism, concepting, and producing.

Lauryn produced, plays an instrument.. can sing sing

Doja is talented. One of the best out of the new mainstream acts. But the bar is low. She nowhere near Lauryn or even Eve lyrically

Y'all have to relax. Doja is talented but she is not even CLOSE to surpassing Nicki as far as rapping is concerned rn. As a matter fact she should be thanking Nicki(I think she does) for taking all the hate and hits for going pop so her and the rest of the girls could do so with little pushback.

Maybe that will change with the new album but not yet, not even close.

Doja's not the best at anything but she's really good at everything and the fact that I only see *one* name when it comes to female rappers that possibly have command of as many aspects of music creation as she does validates my opinion further.
