I totally get where you're coming from, hence why we agree that it presented as a societal problem is a huge issue. Lupe addressed it as the broader term (as did I) from what I'm gathering, and that is how I followed through on it. Tweets are deleted but:

So if you feel it got twisted or overthought into something it isn't, I'm just going off the news source where Lupe looks at it more broadly. I personally coin the systemic problem as "oppressive white privilege" as opposed to "white supremacy" but I also know people have it that way as well. Race issues are always a touchy subject no matter the medium.

I didn't read nothing but the thread title so pardon me if I am overlooking some detail of what was said.

BUT

The very most important idea that we need to embrace is "JUNGLE RULES"

We scream to High Heaven about being mistreated. We have been mistreated for hundreds of years and these Pilgrims (Europeans, Nazis, KKK et al) will never stop pillaging.

So given that simple fact, trying to appeal to reason and fairness is fruitless after a certain point. We have gotten all we are going to get from America as far as them taking the boot off our collective necks.

Some greats points were made on the first page but I'm not sure if I even
wanna read through the rest of this thread, I'm pretty convinced the conversation
therein will be a bunch of brain dead social commentary.

I would like to know what all Lupe has done to help defeat this black complancy. Why hasn’t he made a rap album in a catchy way about it. If he was really concerned with Black complancy he would make songs about it. I like Lupe the artist but he like most artist music doesn’t match up with his ideologies.

Because the reality of this world is a rap album ain't changing shyt.
A lot of people (Lupe included) aren't really about to venture into the places
they rap about and critique on the daily to tutor the youth or pay for their
college education or ensure their neighborhood isn't getting shot up or
that they don't have to walk through metal detectors just to learn Algebra and English.

It's a complex situation that people can feel good about ignoring as long
as they have some "Conscious" artist in their ear reminding them how fukked
up they aren't or how stacked against the odds their situation isn't.


Look at posters like @PhonZhi or other people of his ilk that post all over this fukking
website and revel in the idea that they're better than the "c00ns" and "Bedbucks", they
seek to demean and dehumanize other black people under the guise of Black Empowerment.

I get reminded why I hardly post here whenever I sign back on.
The mentalities that are pervasive in psuedo intellectual "conscious" circles
