OP, what you gotta realize is that most these Coli nikkas are either selfish hypersexual negroes, white people pretending to be black or whitewashed c00ns that think being a Christian=a Baptist church in a Tyler Perry movie & they don't want their white friends to associate them with that.

I like the Coli for the dialogue among a diverse group of black people but most of these demonic nikkas have to be taken with a grain of salt. All of the black men I know keep faith, whether it's Christianity, NOI or some African spiritual belief.

But don't those same quotes work the same without the "divine" aspect?

Your favorite one "If it's meant for me, it's for me and no one but God can take that away."

rewritten:

"If it's meant for me, it's for me and no one can take that away"

It's the same meaning

The main issue I have with people mentioning God is that we only "praise" the notion when good stuff happens. "God was out there with us" when a team wins the Super Bowl. As if God had a rooting interest for the specific players on the Eagles instead of the Patriots. It's a silly notion.

Gives hope to the weak. The strong like me know the truth and still keep pushing. Your morals and will power are what make you a man.
It's not about being weak.

Everyone wants to categorize individuals as "strong" and "weak".

Smart or dumb.

Granted there are obviously people who are better lead and others who are just born to lead. We all have the same range of emotions, and life isn't too kind to any of us.

We see the bad doing good.
And the good doing bad.

It's not about "church." I been over and done with that. It's about God and yourself.

Mindset. Faith.
Just having the mindset that a higher power is aiding in your livihood is a lovely feeling.

So not believing is some cac shyt? Is this what you’re getting at?

You do realize that some of the most famous, pro Black figures were atheists and freethinkers, right?

im sure it does :ehh:

i mean i would LIKE to believe that there's a magic party up in the clouds, hosted by Jesus, with all the ghosts of my friends and family after we die. i can see why you WANT to believe that it's real

but actually believing it's real though :mjlol: the rational adult in me just can't do it
Didn't mention anything about heaven or hell.

I simply stated believing in God and my whole OP is centered on FAITH.

I quoted a few cliches that I've heard throughout life but for the most part I kept the Bible thumping and religious debates out of it.

But you people can't help yourselves.

"God" was whatever the catalyst for the big bang was.

What makes what is written in the Holy Bible different from past religions that we now consider mythology?
