lebron at 18 was playin PG and averaging 20 in the NBA

wiggins could not average 20 RIGHT NOW in the NBA at 18 imo
If he played for the bobcats right now he couldn't avg 20 :bryan: dont forget the cavs had been terrible for years you probably could have avg 10 playing for them. Remember kemba walker avg 17 this year :stopitslime:

I don't argue with people who dikkride. Sorry.

I have no vested interest. Take your weird, tired shtick somewhere else.

You don't want it with me.

The kid looks good. I'm not sure he has the same development arc as Seventh... but Wiggins is the most well-rounded player in this class right now.

I guess I just don't know what the bar is for this conversation, is this one of those "if he ain't as nice as bron he ain't shyt" conversations?

been saying this...every year there is a dude with a highlight type that is hyped to the heavens before he actually gets to the NCAA.

Michael Beasley
OJ Mayo
Josh Selby
Bill Walker
Greg Oden (not saying the potential wasnt there)
Austin Rivers
Brandon Knight
Shabazz Mohammed
John Wall
shyt even Samardo Samuels at one point am I wrong?

.
Yes. You are very very wrong. Nobody on that list has been hyped anywhere near Wiggins, who has been the consensus no.1 player and pick for over two years now. He's a 6'8" wing who can handle, shoot and finish above everyone.

I get the reactionary "let's wait and see" - because OBVIOUSLY WE HAVE TO SEE HOW HE TURNS OUT - but let's not use that as a crutch, so that in 2 years you can up a thread and be like "see I said this high schooler wasn't shyt!"

It's all projection at this age.

And, Samardo Samuels? :snoop:

The talent and tools are all there for Andrew to be a superstar. If he gets there is up to him though. But you can't look at him in a game and his highlights and now know that the skills are there for hear to be a dominant player in the NBA.

I don't think Wiggins is overrated. However, I think the following year's draft will be better.
Jahil Okafor and Karl Towns Jr. :wow:

This is my first time seeing this Karl Towns dude:ohhh:

He has "it":lupe:

A big man who's crafty and has a J.....I was more impressed with his highlight reel than I am of Wiggins.

Also heard he's been developing his sky hook and fade hook shot. Already a legit 7'1"

The next generation of bigs is here!:blessed:

breh friggin keith van horn avg 20 in his rookie season, wiggins could avg 20 esp in this nba

lololol true but van horn was a 3-4 year player witta developed game comin in

i aint even sayin he overrated...im just sayin compared to when lebron james was in high school i dont see the comparison

lebron had a nba game in like the 11th grade., a DOMINANT nba game

there was no reason at all for him to even step on a campus

i think andrew wiggins got game...but not a dominant right now day 1 nba game

he need atleast one year of college imo

Y'all just need to let this nikka play. You can't even say he's going to be great based on what happens in Kansas. It could be another KD-Oden type two picks draft.

:upsetfavre: so lebron dominated the league his rookie season breh. you don't think that wiggins could average 20 and 5(lebron rookie numbers) playing for the weakest team in the L right now. Now :troll:has become one of the best players in the league but wiggins has been hyped just like him.

And for yall comparing his hype to these other players who tanked for any of these guys

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
yeah for all the Wiggins, Parker, and Randle hype, I think Okafor is the guy that will quickly turn a team into a contender.

Depends on whether or not Okafor is really 6'11" or not, he was listed at 6'9" until recently.

As for Wiggins, how good he wants to be is completely up to him, he measured out at 6'7" in shoes with a 6'11" wingspan, if he plays the SG position in the league he will be one of the larger 2s in the league with athleticism nobody else at the position is coming close to. I think he needs to play the 2 in the NBA to maximize his potential, he's not big enough to play the 3 and be a superstar on the level a lot of people are claiming he will be.

That Selden kid on Kansas could be really good too, he has an elite handle and whether he's a 1 or 2 he has good size for either spot.

No, Wiggins couldn't average 20 and 5 straight out of HS, there's only 1 person that put up that line coming out of HS.

Bron was 245lbs when he hit the league, only Ron Artest was bigger than him at the 3, dude is an anomaly.

:blessed: thank you based Malta..Say what you want about Lebron and his personality. There has never been a talent like that at the age of 18. This is a guy throwing behind the back passes, no look, in transition at 17 :wow: in games against Dematha. Wiggins is good but the Lebron slander is :scusthov: Show me a kid 6"8 240 with that skill set at an early age.

These guys really are going crazy over athleticism. While it's important what is the skill set like and right now, Wiggins skill set has and never was and never will be the same as Lebron's at his age. You watch lebron's high school tape and it's full of dunks, blocks, tough shots, but also an array of high knowledge passes beyond his years. We were all witnesses :lupe:
