My mom and dad have been together for 30 years (last week was their anniversary of their first date ), married for 26, so they are in their 50s in the age game. Of course my mom does not look the same and neither does my dad but they try their best to look good for each other. They work out together, he pays for her to get her hair done and spa appointments, she shops for him.

My mom still looks like she's in her 40. But she's chocolate and we know that black don't crack. My dad was getting kinda chubby, but he got in the gym to lose some of that weight to look good for that woman I'm sure they still be fukkin'.

But we both know that she looks in the mirror, has low self-esteem about her appearance but does nothing about it. She could do something as well, not just for him, but for her own conscious/confidence.

Anyway, I JUST had this convo with my female coworker. We were talking about fat people and she said her man is getting a lil , gut starting to poke out and theyre only in their 20s. She agreed and told me he better start working out or its gonna be splitsville.

If that wouldn't work, I'd try to work myself into her self-improvement as many ways as I could so it could seem more like bonding rather than me just telling her about her self. Go to the gym with her, hire a consultant for both of us, hit the spa together, etc. I feel like at that age, women just want companionship and want to do things with their husband.

After that many years, it'd be fickle to fukk it all up because I didn't have the balls to say a couple of sentences.
