But the premise of this thread was that Kobe wasn't memorable during the threepeat and your point to back that statement was a game where he played 9 minutes. If you pick one game that biased, then I can pick game 4 where Kobe carried them to victory in OT.

in 2001 at the age of 22 he averaged 29 7 and 6 in 16 games

in 2002 he averaged 26 6 and 5 in 19 games

in 2003 in 12 playoff games with shaq and no finals Kobe averaged 32 5 and 5 ...

Post Season - 29.0 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 5.2 APG


Kobe was a beast next to Shaq. 29/6/5 in the playoffs is SUPERSTAR NUMBERS. He was at worst the 3rd best player in the league from 01-05. And in some cases was better than Shaq. Especially when they played against the Spurs in the playoffs.

Shaq was in foul trouble and finished the game with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
