King Crab prices have been legit crazy last few years to the point that 17.99 a/lb is a sale. shyt lowest I've seen it was 15.99 a/lb I be looking like :patrice:But they don't look shyt size wise like they use too. or at least the ones I've seen. Might just say fukk it and cop some but man that's a ton of money for very little.

Honestly unless you prefer the taste of the meat...Alaskan snow crabs are better bang for the buck. You can get those around $10/lb on sale and since the shell is much lighter, you're getting more meat per lb you're charged.

Oh you absolutely right. But it's a reason the king is called the king. The taste is much better imo. No disrespect cause I fukk up snow crab too

Agreed but truth be told, the reason they're getting smaller and more expensive is due to overfishing. Read somewhere in '83 they were getting 10x the annual yield they're getting nowadays on those king crabs.
