I don't hang in many social circles where this is common, but I do hear it from time to time, mostly from people who don't know me well, I just laugh it off, but I'm almost always 100% more solid than whoever is saying that. and I also was drinking Remy by the 5th and had a 2 gram/day cocaine habit as a teenager, so it's not as if I don't know what it's like.

Thinking back, in the cycling community, there are a lot of psychos that drink before a ride, intense competitive rides too, and these are easily the most fit people you could find on this planet, outside of olympic level endurance athletes, endurance athletes in general are on another planet of fitness compared to the average active person.

I just think, if coffee is bad, it's probably heart related at the head of it, so staying fit, which is obviously a cheat code to life, could possibly mitigate the primary lingering con that might come with coffee drinking.

What does the Heart Foundation recommend?

When it comes to our energy levels and overall health, caffeine cannot replace the combination of a well-balanced heart-healthy diet, exercise and sleep.

A moderate amount of caffeine should be fine for most healthy people to consume. Keep in mind the recommended limit of 400mg per day to avoid any negative side-effects. It is important to remember we are all different and some of us are more sensitive to caffeine than others. These sensitivities can result in several negative symptoms mentioned above which can be unpleasant or unsettling.

If you find yourself experiencing these symptoms, take a note of how much caffeine you have consumed and aim to reduce this gradually until you reach a point where you are no longer experiencing these adverse effects. Some people prefer to remove caffeine entirely and that is completely OK as well.

Do keep in mind the timing of your last caffeine intake. Caffeine can still be in our system around six hours after our last cup. Good quality sleep is important for maintaining health and preventing disease. Be mindful of whether a late afternoon or evening coffee is keeping you up later than planned or preventing a restorative sleep that the body needs every night.

The risk from pure and highly concentrated caffeine products is clear, and the Heart Foundation recommends avoiding all types of products that contain this type of caffeine.

Yeah, as I expected, it's a bit of tiptoes due to the lack of studies but they will generally lean to recommendations that assume the individual is "healthy", aka, outlier in the American populous, so definity something I would say one should be cautious about. Reminds me of when I was arguing with people about blood pressure, they didn't understand you don't want to be anywhere near 115+ blood pressure given the linear increase of BP with age, it was the reason the Heart Association changed their guidelines, our health results are going to continue being trash if we are basing health standards on the average American.

Wat u mean mocked breh?
people try to alienate you and pass sly words off when they have a higher tolerance than you cause they think you’re dumb in that moment. it brings out the reality of how people truly view you in your times of weakness. people like to smile then duck and throw stones around me so most times i never really know who to trust or to what extent. coward shyt

I'm the opposite. I would much rather be around people who don't smoke or drink.

Not saying this is 100% of course, but a person who doesn't smoke/drink is more than likely to be their own person..... meaning not a sheep. A leader, not a follower. Cuz let's be real: the main reason most people start drinking & smoking initially is to fit in with the crowd.

Drinking & smoking is one of the most popular activities in this demonic world we live in , so I automatically have a higher default respect for people who said "fukk u" to the peer pressure and stayed away from it even if it meant being made fun of by society and having less friends.

I don't drink & smoke myself btw.

Never have. Never will.

Yep cause at least when alcoholics do fukked up shyt they can just blame it on the alcohol. When straight edge people do it they really mean that shyt.
sarcasm... alcoholics will lie about anything to get to that next bottle. Them mfs whole lives is a lie.
My vision a lot clearer without weed

And when i do hit it once every 3/4 months i appreciate it more
Facts im on a t-break right now. i was smoking an ungodly amount of weed this year :picard:. I wasnt even doing it for relaxation any more. that shyt can really sneak up and become a nasty habit.

Would you trust a former alcoholic with lung cancer, who says they don't drink or smoke.

You don't know how to have clean fun anymore. You're done
