A lot of people drink and smoke.
And a lot them aren't trustworthy.

Set your basis for trust higher than goofy shyt some high schooler would say.

I get the same look when I tell ppl I have to go out on multiple dates with a girl before we have sex.

I was at a party and I went upstairs and some girl got me in the bedroom and tried to get me to fukk her on the spot. I pushed her off me, told her "not like this", gave her my number, and told her to meet me at Olive garden on Saturday at 6pm

The only time I ever encountered someone having an issue with me not drinking or smoking was when I worked with a bunch of white coworkers. They stayed trying to get me to come out and drink with them. Company Christmas party was the same thing. At some point, it became clear they were trying to see what I was about.

I typically surmise people who want to see me in this element are trying to plot on me or gain some kind of ammunition they can use later. Why the hell would I engage in something which could leave me vulnerable around folks I don't know?

Coincidentally, I don't trust people who keep pushing me to drink or smoke or keep asking me why I don't do either.

That's all it is. Folks plotting.

drunk or sober i dont trust anybody. But I def think I have a mistrust of sober people being around when there are people drinking. They are usually the ones sitting bored in a corner or the ones telling you "so and so was wilding out" the next day (or if they're really shytty people...filming it in real time). Just my experience, alot of sober people seem miserable in those settings. They just seem to fukk up good vibes in how they react to drunk people which is where this stems from i believe. Alcohol opens people up. Some sober people can be bubbly and social naturally but I don't think its the norm. So sober people get viewed as unfun, guarded, antisocial right or wrong. I have no problem with people who don't partake for whatever reason. Just don't be fukkin sober weirdos when libations are around...and it goes the other way...dont bring libations to weird sober settings (unless the soberness is unvoluntary and the people are welcoming of libations).

I'll say this.

A human being without trauma is a naturally more extroverted human being

Its our natural state. One of play, openness, exploration and the spirit of adventure. The Game at this stage puts an end to that real quick hence why I call folks Adulterated because that is exactly what it is.

To disguise this suffering people will go to immense lengths as they manufacturer proof then lie to themselves...

You can get back there if you wish but it involves examining your emotional investments and most would rather grip to their familiar misery that regain Inner Sense. Crazy world we live in.

I mean if your young and living life and able to still function regularly, then I guess smoking and drinking is doable.

As you get older you tend to tire of that, and you get your dopamine fix in other ways that wont cause negative side effects.

I did all that dumb shyt when I was younger, but the problem is I like to wear jewelry and get splashy, and when you go out you have to ALWAYS be on point,so I gave that shyt up and dont even miss any of it,I just replaced it with more weight training.

i had a picture taken while of me having an inner existential crisis while i was drunk on thanksgiving. i wasn’t the subject of the picture but i was one of the only people in the background and was clearly rubbing my head. when i saw the photo on her story i thought i was overreacting though because my cousin is sincere
