Bruce Willis is in this toobbbut the Rock is an A list actor and biggest draw in the WWE and in Hollywood. Why would they push a movie back just to add Channing Tatum?
Most of Rock's movie do like double what Statham movies do and Statham has never done Journey 2 numbers in a lead role.
And Rock is 1a & 1b in the Fast franchise now with Vin Diesel. Nobodies checking for Paul Walker, he's lucky they didn't bring Michelle Rodriguez back, he'd be 3 then
stop it . I follow Hollywood stuff very closely theres a reason the rock hasn't been given a franchise till now . They give big credit to Jason statham for taking two movies and making franchises out of them the rock hasn't done that . As a action star to have his biggest success as a star in family movies is 
not to mention he's piggybacked off Brendan Frasier twice , Channing tatum and vin diesel / Paul walker . And he hadn't replaced Paul walker at all what are you talking about ? Him and diesel returning revitalized the franchise

I never cried, thought it was a decent career move, maybe I wouldn't have picked the tooth fairy as the family movie, but doing family movies was a good decision.

I wasn't even cracking on the Rock at all, I think people are overly sensitive to him. You guys make jokes about the Rock as a father figure replacement for some people, but damn, it's really true.it never fails

Vin Diesel coming back brought new life into Fast nobody cares about Paul Walker (see Into The Blue and Takers) he just skipped Tokyo Drift that's all.
I have nothing bad to say about Statham he's basically the new action star in the vein of Segal and Van Damme. He's good at what he is but Rock is above that. Journey is getting a sequel that he's gonna carry. He's gonna get marquee placement in the GI and Fast franchises. And that movie with Marky Mark should do well. And whatever this Hercules movie is about could spark another franchise for him.

Ehh it's ok . Keith urban is the star really so if you can enjoy movies like ghost of mars you'll enjoy it . I watched it on DVD when it dropped i liked it wish it had more rock

in Faster and Fast Five. Like I've said in the tons of other Rock threads I'd rather watch his movies at this point. 
It's ridiculous it's gettin to the point where you can't say anything negative about him because dudes will

Paul walker was able to carry fast and furious 2 . The rock is still not getting top billing over him look at the credits hell Jordana Brewster is still probably ahead of him . Takers was a hit too . Now your hating on Brendan Fraser ? He did the first journey and made it a success , his mummy movies launched the scorpion king . Just admit you don't know how Hollywood work. Statham has now launched 3 franchises :expendables , transporter , crank ... Two of which are r rated . His movies have grossed over a billion dollars .Did you not notice that rocks last lead before journey which is faster didnt do that well. Nicca was cameoing in Tyler Perry movies

You don't get as much cache in Hollywood for joining established franchises ( journey , gi joe fast five ) if rock is so hot why go back and add more channing Tatum? The rock can get to the a-list the same way mark wahlberg did he's just not there yet

I know lol . I like the rock and want him to do good
I even think in a supporting role like pain and gain he could get a Oscar nod if he goes all the way in like mark wahlberg in the departed ( that resurrected his career as a serious actor)but these guys got me arguing against him .They are being real disrespectful to other actors Careers .Rocks charismatic , can act and has the tough guy look . I would like a statham /Rock movie I think it would be bad ass actually

I like Statham (in some movies, I don't watch every movie he does) but Rock is a way bigger star than he is and does better movies. Statham can rarely get a movie in the theaters anymore. He's direct to Redbox unless he's paired with an equal or bigger name like Stallone Da Gawd or Jennifer Lopez (I'm even surprised that one is actually going/went to the theaters).
