Middle class based off of? I mean, Biggie damn sure wasn't poor.

Being on a yacht but deciding to jump ship because you prefer Sharks is a whole different ball game.....

If we wanna keep it a stack ever since suburban niccas became a high percentage in the game , shyt been type boring not implying you gotta be talking bout ooo-wops and runnin down on niccas but these niccas ain't never really face no type of adversity , which is exactly why the passion in their rhymes is lacking

As opposed to the mumble-rappin, not-caring-about-anything-besides-flashing-money-on-IG, "street" rappers nowadays huh?

I agree that some type of struggle can make the art better. Because it can resonate with the audience. But i think what the average rap fan consider
struggle is the typical dumb shyt that they think makes them/it "real". Meaning you gotta claim street stories in order to claim a "struggle". And then cats wonder why so many fake it and/or feel they gotta portray a certain role.

Anxiety attacks and sugar cookies
The average citizen don't go through that shyt honestly

What's the average amount of black people in the hood in the first place and if we keeping it buck a lot of those rappers from the street are not relatable at all unless they make an emotional or introspective song (and about 80% of them don't do that that often cause of marketing their image)

Rick Ross was middle class, CO

smh. He was born a CO??

breh, no he wasnt. His dad died young, he was in the streets thats how Boobie took him in.

he became middle class when he got that CO job and even did that to help push weight.

Mustard Island
Then don't listen to them

If anything middle class rappers are a breath of fresh air
Everybody didn't grow up with roaches in their cereal, that shyt is old. Let's talk about black excellence instead of people who grew up in fukked up situations because their parents were idiots
I spoke on it before but this whole line in the sand over "real" rappers and "fake" rappers reinforces white supremacy since it basically states that being mired in poverty and surrounded by violence is what makes you authentically black :scust:

Na
When you don't have anything to offer the rap game, you give verses like:

Why you gotta fight with me at Cheesecake?
You know I love to go there
Say I'm actin' lightskin, I can't take you nowhere
This a place for families that drive Camrys and go to Disney
They don't need to know all of our business
You wildin', you super childish, you go to CVS for Kotex
In my Bugatti, I took the key and tried to hide it
So you can't drive it, and put on mileage
Then you find it, awkward silence
Momma is a saint, yes, she raised me real good
All because of her I don't do you like I should
Don't make me give you back to the hood
Don't make me give you back
