You aren't the only one. Motherfukkers always come with that revisionist history shyt. People forget when we started that season with Gallo and amare they lost a shyt ton of games early on, until Amare had that whole "we need to stop this culture of losing talk".

They were chanting Melo's name in the garden because of how ass we were. Then we finally make the move and people start whining. NY fans :bryan:

He's unhappy with his role. He's unhappy with how woody treats him. It goes back to summer league to me. He expects to be treated like a vet and he thinks they still act like he's a rookie. Think about how shump was last year. Everything was #knickstape 90's version. Shump growing his hair out, just being excited and vocal. Him cutting his hair this year is symbolic. It says to me that in his mind it's over and this is just business.
Shump has to come to grips with the fact that he just isn't that good, and he is a role player. He hasn't taken any of the chances afforded to him to solidify himself as a starter. He is inconsistent at best on both ends of the court. I like Shump, but he quickly moving into Wilson Chandler/Landry Fields territory as far as had a spark when you started but now you just .... You know the rest.

Still can't believe the knicks signed him...I mean..the suns staff couldn't fix him...son...the suns medical staff is literally comprised of those robots that build all of supermans shyt...if they are refusing to sign you then :whoa:

The Suns actually offered him $71 million over 6 years.

I remember when he came in looking like a young Shawn Kemp, straight beasting and jumping out the court.

HE WAS A KILLA :damn:

I thought he was going to redefine the PF position.People remember him for the dunks, but he had a nice J, also. His ability to finish around the rim was:mindblown:.Power, but with a soft feathery touch nh

That's why that Nash/Amare pick n roll was the best since Stockton and Malone. When Joe Johnson broke his face, and Shawn Marion did his annual post season disappearing act, the Suns killed the Mavs in the 2nd round of the playoffs that year('05 I believe) with nothing but the Amare/Nash pick n roll......MAN...that shyt was so POTENT.

Prime Nash with the automatic J...Amare's ability to take it into traffic, absorb contact, and still finish at the rim:ohlawd:....or knock down that 15 footer like clock work:banderas:

From '05-'07...Amare was my favorite player to watch.Them knees always get em, though:sadbron:

Suns medical staff told the front office that Amare's knee had a 3 year expiration date. Here we are today. :gatsby:
Knicks were just desperate.

Everyone laughed at that deal when he signed it. Then for a sec when he was balling they thought maybe they were wrong and would have to eat their words. But in the end we saw exactly what we expected out of the Knicks/Stoudemire marriage...deterIoration (SP) of his knees... FAILURE.

Tho, i cant front i was hoping Riley would go after him instead of Bosh :guilty: Good thing i'm no GM huh :pachaha:

I hope he saved some money, because it's vet minimum contracts at best after this.

He's still got like $40 mil coming to him off this deal. Money SHOULD be the last of his worries.

Oh you mean Wilson Chandler & Gallinari? Because we got Felton back, and Mozgov is a bench warmer. Plus the Nuggets did NOT get out of the 1st rd last year and are 0-3, so let's kill all that.

Can we please stop with this false eqivanlency bullshyt? :beli: The fact that the Nuggets actually made the playoffs the last 3 years is win for them. The Nuggets, with no leverage mind you, made trade to stay above water and avoid becoming Cleveland West. They succeeded in that. They still have a better overall record than the Knicks and they would probably have ONE playoff series victory too if they got to play the :flabbynsick: Celtics in the first round.

Dude was beasting for like a month straight of 30pts when he got traded to NY

Gets hurt
He's lift is gone
Can't get position to score

:to:
:rudy: Both Knicks and Amare knew he at most had 3 years on those knees. Yet, they agreed on a 5yr100mil contract. If anything you should feel sorry for #knickstape :bryan:

That was the series Tony Parker took his game to another level. He became the Tony Parker we know today.

The Suns strategy was to give him the J and he made them pay.

A couple of years before that, Marbury abused him in the playoffs.Dude couldn't hit a mid range J to save his life and the Suns almost upset the Spurs with a team led by Marbury, a fresh outta high school Amare, Matrix, and a bunch of scrubs.

He came back with a vengeance in '05, though.

He was the main reason those mid 2000 Suns teams could never beat the Spurs IMO

I thought a are would eventually adjust his game to be less explosive and complimentary like how Antonio McDyess once he had similar injury problem like Amare and lost his explosive. Mydyess reinvented his game and was a very good player well into his thirties. But I guess not.
