Call me c00n, old head, whatever, but these Bed Stuy nikkas have no chill on a Sunday night. :mjcry: I gotta talk to corporate Cacs in Europe early in the AM.

Did you try talking to your neighbors first? Calling the cops is usually a last resort. And calling the cops on other black people is kinda foul since there's the potential that cops will just kill them for no reason (which often happens)

The sleepless city
My brother actually had to relocate because of neighbors drinking 24/7 and blarring music loud as hell..cops were always called and did zero, we suspect it was an illegal hood bar.

This culture of not calling the law on people fukking up your street never made sense to me..those same people don't give a fukk about you, so why protect them?:stopitslime:

Don't think it ever was due to culture, or protecting anyone, it all began as a distrust for the police given their history with us....
Then it just basically turned into straight fear of reprisal if any of those "hood" dudes found out you called the boys on em.... Hence snitches get stiches, which oddly enough didn't even come from us originally, it was from the mafia.
When the cops leave who's protecting you?

Its just less of a hassle i guess, and now these days these suckers wanna just shoot you for any ol misperceived disrespect so its even worse.

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
I'm dealing with that crap right now. They just moved in a couple of months ago. Yelling, screaming, arguing with each other, bumping music and cars parked all over. I asked one of them if they could chill and they stopped for awhile but a week or so later they're back at it. I work nights so I don't have to deal with them too much but on my nights off they be on that BS. I'm moving next month so it's whatever.

Last time I called the cops was when some hood rat was banging and yelling at a house down the street where her alleged baby daddy lives with his girlfriend. He kept saying the baby wasn’t his. This was at 3am. I didn’t call then, but she came back later around 11am doing the same thing. That’s when I called. Cop told her to leave, and if she comes back she’s getting arrested.

She came BACK two hours later, and somebody else called the cops, and they met the cop outside and said she’s been doing this since 3am. That lady was black too, so I didn’t feel so bad. You can’t put up with constant disturbance like that.

:yeshrug:

Plus, I felt she wouldn’t get shot since the cops here are mostly black, and she was a pregnant woman.

I already touched on it but when I finished college, I lived in a really run down neighbourhood where the Hispanics would blare their reggaeton DAILY!!!!

The thing is, I didn’t mind if they did this now and again, but they would do this 24/7. shyt was depressing because calling the cops never crossed my mind. I couldn’t sleep and was stressed out from it.

I was hoping one of the older residents would do it… but even when the police would come, the shyt would start up again minutes later. shyt was not good for my mental health.

Now I live in a ‘nicer’ :mjpls: area. But now that I’m older, if I have to deal with that shyt again, I’d have no issue calling the police. Inconsiderate fukks!

Above the fray.

You have consideration for individuals who have NONE for you. Or anybody else in the neighborhood who has to go to work or school in the morning.
