I finally download a game pass and there are so many games on here. I’m glad to know this exists lol

Gamepass has had GOTY nominees pretty much every year.I had gamepass stacked up from 2021 to 2024 and the only games that got burn from me were Lies of P and battlefield 2042. They never had day 1 GOTY heat like this year.
You just told yourselves those games weren’t good for……reasons

just because they dumped all their best games on ps5 in one month doesn’t mean the service has been that consistent every year. Clair Obscur is doing a lot of heavy lifting even for this year cause games like south of midnight, atomfall, and avowed, etc. aren’t really moving the needle for most people

On one hand, Xbox ain't got no games to play. Until they do, then it's would you really pay full price for the game.

If it comes out months later on gamepass, like metaphor that doesn’t really help me.
The day one gamepass library has been inconsistent and wack. Once ine a while they will get a few decent games in a row but it hasn’t been enough to make the subscirption base grow or sell consoles. So more people align with me line of thinking then yours
there’s never been a definitive GOTY title released on gamepass in the 8 years its been around

Thats really what it comes down to, because otherwise you’re just playing those games because they’re on the service and a lot of people don’t play games that way
i play the same type of games I’ve played over the course of generations, the only people that convinced themselves that a new kojima game isn’t worth playing are the people not getting it for “Free” on a rental service next month
and i don’t think theres anyone here that can deny i play enough games every year, I’ve never been scared to post my gamer tags on here

You know what? Meach and Mad titan are right. Elden Ring, FF7 remake, rebirth, smtv 5 vengeance, baldurs gate 3, totk, lad infinite wealth, metaphor refantazio, dead island 2, dragons dogma 2, robocop rogue city, and cyberpunk all come out day 1 on gamepas
