I had gamepass stacked up from 2021 to 2024 and the only games that got burn from me were Lies of P and battlefield 2042 . They never had day 1 GOTY heat like this year.

Gamepass has had GOTY nominees pretty much every year.

just because they dumped all their best games on ps5 in one month doesn’t mean the service has been that consistent every year. Clair Obscur is doing a lot of heavy lifting even for this year cause games like south of midnight, atomfall, and avowed, etc. aren’t really moving the needle for most people

notice how theres only one game released from this year on the top sellers list that released on gamepass? And its a remaster Lol

See this is why I can't take y'all dudes serious. They way y'all talk about games and the way y'all play games don't add up, and that would be cool if y'all wasn't hating on the next thing.


On one hand, Xbox ain't got no games to play. Until they do, then it's would you really pay full price for the game. And if it passes those litmus test, finally it's how many bangers like they do they really have a year.


The issue is either y'all hardcore Sony stans dudes don't play games like or y'all lying.

And it's looking like it's both half y'all only waiting for something the industry is telling you is fire or whatever drops from the big publishers you know. The other half are playing, looking forward to and buying the same games on PlayStation that are releasing in gamepass day 1.

When asked about it you'll say "ownership" when told about it you say "bargain bin game"

If it comes out months later on gamepass, like metaphor that doesn’t really help me.

The day one gamepass library has been inconsistent and wack. Once ine a while they will get a few decent games in a row but it hasn’t been enough to make the subscirption base grow or sell consoles. So more people align with me line of thinking then yours

there’s never been a definitive GOTY title released on gamepass in the 8 years its been around

Thats really what it comes down to, because otherwise you’re just playing those games because they’re on the service and a lot of people don’t play games that way

i play the same type of games I’ve played over the course of generations, the only people that convinced themselves that a new kojima game isn’t worth playing are the people not getting it for “Free” on a rental service next month

and i don’t think theres anyone here that can deny i play enough games every year, I’ve never been scared to post my gamer tags on here

I had Gamepass last year and saved money on ALL these games I saved up so much money, over 300,000 Iranian Rials by subbing to Gamepass
