Funniest part is when people try to compare singers not writing their own stuff to rappers not writing their own stuff. Having an amazing singing voice is the talent in singing, Whitney Houston could have sang the alphabet and it would sound amazing because she could sing her ass off. Rapping is basically speaking rhymes, the talent is the rhyming, so if you not writing your rhymes then what is ur talent? Beyonce and Mariah (Old Mariah) will sound excellent singing no matter what they're singing...cause they can SING. Cardi B and Bhad Bhabie tho? They got coaches and writers and cheat codes and all that shyt in the studio with them just to rhyme a 16 bar verse. shyt should be unacceptable, salute Flex

to me i dont care. biz markie didn't write pickin boogers, kane did.... mc lyte didn't write her verse on self destruction, LL did....... kool g rap wrote big mama for roxanne shante, c murder wrote for master p, biggie wrote for lil kim, cam'ron wrote for lil cease and the list goes on....
personally i dont give a fukk. its all about how you perform those lyrics. you cant just give any yahoo some lyrics and all of a sudden they nice. you have to have the god given voice first of all and know how to deliver those rhymes. i know its not considered real hip hop for me to say all this but while i honestly respect those who write their rhymes more than those who dont.... i dont discard those who have ghostwriters as being non talents. its way more complex than that
