Indian food (South, Punjabi etc) is good as fukk.
Issue is that you gotta find the right spots. If cooked well, it's top shelf but if you go to a shytty spot, it's BAD. Like pizza and most Italian food is hard to really fukk up but Indian is easy to mess up with poor cooks.
Another thing about it is that the flavor profile doesn't work for everyone. If you like it...you probably REALLY like it. If it ain't hitting for you though, it's gonna be bad regardless.
Mango Lassi and good samosas....gotta start there. Maybe chicken Tikka masala or chicken biryani. If you don't like those 4 things, you probably won't like anything else (butter chicken, palak paneer, tandoori chicken, goat/lamb curry, vindaloo etc).
