I get depressed about modern Black people and the future of a possible movement when i think about Huey Newton

Blatantly murdered that man
He was actually doing shyt
Now, BLM comes along and just blatantly steals money, headed by ppl who don't represent the community

It just came out that FBI worked with a police woman to surveil protesters

Is there ever going to be another widespread movement or are we done?

I think no
Americans are getting more stupid and the college educated ones have bought into the system

Youtube and other social media don't help

@The Fade

It even trickles down into the culture

If we lived in a society that had Black consciousness, ppl like Akademiks and FreshandFit never have a successful platform

Speaking of Heuy Newton, a certain demographic is hard at work trying to discredit him. This viral tweet from a few days ago:

She been doing this shyt since 2020. Here's her post in 2020:

Gen X raised the worst era of black folks. Gen Z is without a doubt THE WORST era of black people in history.

I came to this realization the other night and it made me pessimistic. Only thing I can say is do what you can and be a part of the solution

The women won't get behind a national movement for just AA people and most black men are following these women and not leading.

Better to find a place you're comfortable and forget about some big movement happening.

The widespread movement is as simple as fatherhood, varied and valued trades and choosing good women combined with scripture. From there everything works itself out.
The main problem is who black men are seeding up. In Gen X nikkas basically seeded up feminists who are responsible for raising the Lil Nas X's and divestors we see today. Black men just gotta choose wisely. Who cares if the ass is fat. Does she read bell hooks? Does she think black men are the white people of black people?
Another thing is mentoring black boys. We need more mentoring programs for black boys since they're under attack from all sides. Keep black boys awaay from social media as well.

Facts. One o the biggest problems is black men wanting to involve black women into everything. It's not a good move since that also includes divestors and the self sabotaging types like the womanists/feminists.

People who watch Akademiks and Fresh & Fit aren’t the majority, they just have view points that resonates with the broader culture. Not to drag the whole diaspora shyt into it but them having a different upbringing cultural plays into this as well. But what must be stressed is that most black people in general were not rebel rousers to fringe causes per se like the Huey Newtons and Black Panther Party type of brehs, hell barely even with brehs like MLK and he was arguable the most pristine of that bunch. Lets not get into the whole “well they were c00ns!” bs cause on the contrary they were taking care of matters at the time that were important to them and as did everyone else.

But despite all the noise on social media and spectacle on YouTrash , I’ve been seeing more black men step up to the plate in a wider array of areas from child rearing to pursuing more lucrative career paths. Some say it ain’t enough, but the way I was raised to simply do whaf you can to put on for the next generation coming up. Worrying about trying to save the world or China does nothing but hurt you in the long haul. Gotta be practical.

Black American men have to start building a supply chain. You can't sustain a community without it. The Asians and Hispanics have that. Black folks are too dependent on others to supply them with food and jobs. But most black people "hate" the idea of getting back on farms and doing what's needed to build a community. And if the outside groups come in and try to stop it, then we have to ask ourselves why are we trying to stay in a place that will not allow us to be what we can be?

The closest a society had to Black Consciousness (The 50s and 60s) involved black celebrities & figures that would stray away from political/racial talking points and some were even :mjpls:
