You are so ignorant that you aren't aware that female athletes in the WNBA typically subsidize their income by going to play overseas in Europe. So WNBA makes them more likely to be picked up in foreign leagues.

250k is really not a lot of money in a lot of metro areas. not a pro player type of money....

with that said, WNBA is still a very niche league that I think (someone correct me if Im wrong) is still subsidized by the NBA and is unprofitable

WNBA stars (A'Ja, Stewie, CC etc), will make money through endorsements and other means, so that their salary won't matter much. They'll be OK mostly.

The low level/mid players? $60, 70k to hoop in a major metro isn't all that great. You have be willing to play overseas. That shyt with Griner was a wakeup call. These ladies have to go to Bumfukk Russia just to make good scratch. Feel like if they could get the baseline salary around $150k on the low end up to maybe $325/350k on the high end, more of these ladies could stay here in the offseason. That's not crazy money but you can definitely live on that.

Big difference is NBA brehs can be middling players for 10 years and never work again with generational wealth. WNBA players gotta stay hustling, coaching etc. This current crop with Buckets, CC etc., will hustle more with endorsements, sponsorships etc., during their career so they won't have to do much upon retirement.
