I think you're underestimating how much property at Miami Beach costs. 50K ain't shyt for that
I think you misunderstood what I said, you don’t actually have to own the property.

I’m saying if you have 50k, you can figure out where some major tourist destinations are....

Look apartment complexes within these areas(walking distance). Rent them out.
Buy some cheap furniture from ikea. Then post that shyt on Airbnb

The shyt pays for itself in a few months....
People do this shyt in LA all the time...

almost all lease agreements have a covenant specifically AGAINST subleasing. it gets obvious when theres a new tenant in your apartment every week, esp if theres a property manager or something.

alotta condos and other associations with strict HOAs don't allow for AIRbnb these days either

it def is a good hustle if you can

And people still do it....

I mean it's worth if you can pull it off. I know a couple who do it....

I thought you were against this :patrice:
Someone told me you hold some conservative views
Funny story is I've talked to a few business owners on their methods on breaking through out of the "worker" class and he kept telling me if you can handle dealing with the tenants it pays

i used to be thoroughly against it until i ran the numbers :ld:

and my views are my own. I believe strongly that people should think for themselves and not sheepishly follow any particular crowd. Most important is not what views people hold but how they entertain new ideas. It separates the intelligent from the mouthbreathers

I been thinking about this recently actually :patrice:

AirBnB. The couple that you know, do they sublease an apartment?

I stay in an apartment but was thinking of leasing another in a different complex for airbnb...:patrice:

Like a 6 month lease to give it a try and see what i can do. Not sure of all the nuances so i'm trying to read up. I think Houston is a decent tourist attraction but i know it'd be ideal to do in some place like Vegas... but if people are trying to rent every weekend i ain't trying to fly out there once a week just to hand over keys and keep an eye on things.

As an aside, @Serious @dora_da_destroyer let's say hypothetically you in 2024 were a quarter million liquid ($250k), i'm talking in your checking account and not including what you'll receive the rest of the year in salary nor what you have currently in your 401k, stocks, investments, etc.

Is there an optimal path to dividing/allocating/flipping that type of money to make more money? What steps would you take?
