Even if you don't work for the big 4, as an accountant you'll still make nice money. Don't discount yourself.
oh i will i just dont wanna work for the big 4. i decided that long ago even if i had a 4.0 GPA.

Do u have money saved? Can you afford the risk of not being employed there? If not then I would not do it. I would need a huge safety net. Your location says DC. It's high as hell there.
IT is just a thought...I still want to be an accountant, just not with the big 4.

If you have at least a 3.0 you need to head to your career center and get an interview with Shell! If you're a minority, even better. If you don't have a 3.0, attend those career fairs.
The career fairs....i already have a better job than what they offer except one place not too far from me, but you gotta have the completed degree to apply...
i had a a recruiter for waffle house wanting me to go into their Management trainee program ($18/hr).
sidenote, coworker tried to get me on primerica....
i died.

speaking of jobs, my last job just contacted today me to set up a phone interview for a senior position for the job I had there previously. I'd have to go work in an office again, and I told the wife, that I probably wouldn't make the move for less than 10K increase in salary from what I'm currently making.
