I've watched the film 4 times, read Graysmith's book, dug around the internet. I always keep going back to it.
To me, it's far more interesting than all the other serial killer cases because there's about 3 suspects that could have legitimately done the killings. A new suspect was brought forth last month but the circumstantial evidence isn't as strong.

The site above also has a good summary of the evidence on all likely suspects (Allen and Gaikoswki) being the main ones, and Marshall being third most likely.
