I dont begrudge any man who worked hard and labored for his money spending it as his sees fit , i wouldnt spend that amount on clothing personally as its not a pressing issue everyone has their own free will
Sure, it’s your money, your choice—but let’s not pretend blowing it on overpriced clothes is some enlightened exercise of free will. It’s just performative consumption, a desperate attempt to signal status to people who couldn’t care less. Real wealth isn’t worn—it’s built

Does it really matter at the end of the day, like how many times a year are folks buying hoodies?

Realistically a hoodie should last several years at the minimum, stuff like that and coats/jackets whatever I can see how people spend some hundreds on that cause they not going to buy another hoodies for a couple years anyway

Really buying cheaper clothing is really for tshirts and undergarments

Most of these nggas are buying clothes to keep up with hood fashion trends and that is always silly

But the thought process of over-garments is sound bc you can shuffle out the t shirt under it, wear it with difrent jeans, it won’t go out of style, etc

But ….$100 is still foolish for that flimsy ass nike jacket. :snoop: I have a jean jacket that I could wear every day in spring or fall with multiple outfit types and it cost me $30. I have a full length checkerboard pea coat that gets compliments and stares literally every time I wear it :banderas:Looks expensive af but cost me $60.

Hood-popular brands are always overpriced

Nike and RL makes very quality outerwear.

Not gonna lie to you a polo hoodie or a Nike tech feels a lot different from a hoodie for Zara or H&M

You’d think nggas were talking about cashmere sheepskin linens :bryan:

They talking about a COTTON HOODY.

That my friend is the power of branding. Placebo effect. You set a price point at a certain level and package it right and nggas will subconsciously add value to it on their own

I rather have a few expensive, above base quality hoodies than those 30$ HM type shyts.

Polo Nike north face etc for the working man.

When y’all start speaking Italian is where I just fall back and observe from the sidelines.

I'm a brandwhore and I know it. I bought a Marathon hoodie some years ago from Nips website. The cotton on that joint is a lot different than whatever the fukk RL be using.

Boy I hate nggas. Dudes buy the same popular brands and talk about ‘I pay for quality :hhh:

No, you payin to fit in
I live in San Diego.

:mjlol:

Who am I fitting in with? I dress different than anyone out here. Everywhere I go I’m one of a handful of black people.

You ever consider I’ve had my hoodies for years and add on only when a new color I like comes out so I can accurately judge quality by how many times I’ve cleaned/washed them and how long they’ve lasted me?

Goofy ass nikka.

:mjlol:

over 100 for a hoodie is alot, for most hoodies at least. but I just spent about 250 for one so I can't really say shyt. A good jacket is worth the price. A cashmere hoodie should run you over 100 for sure. Mine was just a Fear of God Essentials x Lakers hoodie that's kinda in high demand. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants.

You want to be different and contrarian so bad :unimpressed:

Nobody is saying H&M or Zara make bad hoodies but they literally don’t last as long as Techs or polo hoodies and the material feels different

But you probably buy t shirts from the gas station or some shyt so it’s pointless to explain this to someone like you :dead:
