Sure, it’s your money, your choice—but let’s not pretend blowing it on overpriced clothes is some enlightened exercise of free will. It’s just performative consumption, a desperate attempt to signal status to people who couldn’t care less. Real wealth isn’t worn—it’s builtI dont begrudge any man who worked hard and labored for his money spending it as his sees fit , i wouldnt spend that amount on clothing personally as its not a pressing issue everyone has their own free will
Does it really matter at the end of the day, like how many times a year are folks buying hoodies?
Realistically a hoodie should last several years at the minimum, stuff like that and coats/jackets whatever I can see how people spend some hundreds on that cause they not going to buy another hoodies for a couple years anyway
Really buying cheaper clothing is really for tshirts and undergarments
Not gonna lie to you a polo hoodie or a Nike tech feels a lot different from a hoodie for Zara or H&M
Nike and RL makes very quality outerwear.

That over price gaudy shyt is straight trash. Most of these nggas are buying clothes to keep up with hood fashion trends and that is always silly
But the thought process of over-garments is sound bc you can shuffle out the t shirt under it, wear it with difrent jeans, it won’t go out of style, etc
But ….$100 is still foolish for that flimsy ass nike jacket.I have a jean jacket that I could wear every day in spring or fall with multiple outfit types and it cost me $30. I have a full length checkerboard pea coat that gets compliments and stares literally every time I wear it
Looks expensive af but cost me $60.
Hood-popular brands are always overpriced

You’d think nggas were talking about cashmere sheepskin linens
They talking about a COTTON HOODY.
That my friend is the power of branding. Placebo effect. You set a price point at a certain level and package it right and nggas will subconsciously add value to it on their own
Nike at the very least will be consistent with how they make they shyt, and they always having some type of sale anywayI rather have a few expensive, above base quality hoodies than those 30$ HM type shyts.
Polo Nike north face etc for the working man.
When y’all start speaking Italian is where I just fall back and observe from the sidelines.
I live in San Diego.![]()
Boy I hate nggas. Dudes buy the same popular brands and talk about ‘I pay for quality‘
No, you payin to fit in

These really the only 3 brands I wear. Under armor for gymMy two favorite hoodies are RL. They just feel good. And I have a Nike Lacrosse sweatshirt that kinda feels like my RL hoodies.
