@AVXL I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on this article?:jbhmm:

So Mariota throws more than twice as many INT's when pressured and is near the bottom of the league in QBR. Plus he has a higher per game turnover rate. how can this be?:ohhh:

Jameis is the highest rated QB while under pressure. #1 over guys like Brady and that fukk boy Matt Ryan all at the age of 22:wow:

When he gets an O-line and a #2 WR:umad:

You selected a fluff piece that's an obvious Jameis Winston support article. It is what it is. He's playing better, getting a little national attention, but the problem is that you're unwilling to have an unbiased discussion about Jameis. In your world he's the GOAT QB, and that's cool, but I'm not gonna fake the funk with you like you're willing to be unbiased about his overall play

One thing I've learned on here is people on here take the so called draft analysts like Kiper serious.

I knew Mariota was better in college, I just got tired of arguing on here about it

I'm glad :skip: brought up the face mask call that nobody saw that cost Jameis his 3rd TD pass last night.

But yeah, that throw afterwards was very ill advised and he needs to clean up on that.

But then for dudes to turn around and act like Mariota is the poster child for ball security :mjlol:

39 (Winston) vs 35 (Mariota) career turnovers. Yeah, that's one sided :skip:

Where did I say he was the GOAT?:dwillhuh:

I have said that both he and Mariota are basically even at this point, are future stars, and we should enjoy watching both. I never said Jameis was better.

I have an agenda and bias by saying they're equal? That makes no sense:mjlol:

Your have the agenda and said Mariota is better and Jameis is mediocre. The numbers I've posted only reflect that Jameis is much closer to Marcus than you think. You weren't telling the whole story because you have an agenda and can't look at things objectively

So what are we even arguing breh? :dwillhuh:

Mariota is a little further ahead than Jameis...I never said he was a bust or a bad QB. Nothing has changed with this discussion, the fact y'all have made a big deal over the fact that he's played well the last 3 weeks shows how insecure y'all have been about the whole debate

The first thing out of that guy's mouth was Jameis turns it over too much and he used the word dumb a few times:mjpls:. I've already pointed out how Mariota turns it over at basically an equal rate. He's lost a game or two this season because of a late costly turnover. This just shows you how perception is everything with black QB's. Luck turns it over but it's not a stigma. Geno's name is synonymous with INT's but Fitzpatrick threw 6 in one game and kept his job. He didn't even get to play with Marshall or the weapons Fitz has:mjpls:. Brock got 72 million after putting up garbage stats in a few games but Tyrod was fighting for a contract after a putting in more work with the Bills last year:mjpls:

:jbhmm:

Gotta clarify breh. Mariota fell to the Titans, they never had a chance to pick Jameis. That said Mariota's been the better player. More dynamic, cuts down on the turnovers and making the most of a mediocre at best roster. Jameis has not proven he is any of that...he's just proven to be a mediocre QB :yeshrug:

So if Jameis is mediocre and Mariota is "a little further ahead" wouldn't that make Mariota mediocre too? :patrice:

Stop trying to be slick acting like Jameis just started playing well the past 3 weeks when he dropped 4 TD's on your falcons week 1:mjlol:

Jameis problem is that he was much more inconsistent early in the year. He'd play well vs us then have a game like he had vs DEN or AZ. He's played better recently b/c he's not making as many bad decisions/turnovers but he's still prone to making bad decisions with the football.Mariota isn't gonna throw 4 INTs in a game like Jameis has done so because Mariota doesn't have the same type of variances in his performances

My top QBs in no particular order:

1. Brady
Rogers
Big Ben
Brees
5. Ryan
Carr
Scam
Russ
Romo
10. Rivers
Eli
Cousins
Stafford
Luck
15. Mariota
Jameis

I'm not putting a rookie over Jameis so no Dak or Wentz. Jameis is right in that Flacco, Andy Dalton area, his consistency & decision making is why he's in that category

Mariota has played less NFL time than Winston as well... I've seen Mariota play live it's a beautiful thing.... this rivalry will go down till they retire I wish both these men to be true franchise qbs

Well, that's the ball game folks :skip:

Mind you, that wasn't the only INT he threw that game on top of a fumble returned for a TD.

Jameis is going to have to be careful against that San Diego defense.
