The issue better be real. I dont even see how the Warriors can respect Durant. Dude is a hoe.
The warriors players DONT respect Durant.

They are just forced to play with him. Durant literally serves no purpose on warriors. The crazy thing is, is that casual basketball fans still havent realized that Durants style of play actually disrupts Golden State offense, which makes them much worse. Teams will have a MUCH easier time guarding golden state this season. Also Golden didn't even take the time to fix their main weaknesses on the defensive end and they still have one of the worst defenders in the league in Steph Curry in the starting 5.

I really think Durant didn't join Golden State for basketball reasons. I think he wanted be part of the crew that he thinks is "cool". He wants the attention that Lebron James or Steph Curry gets. That was the reason for him joing golden state had to be. Cause from a basketball standpoint he literally and willingly ruined his career.

If the warriors players don't respect him then why recruit him?

Your point is baseless

Maybe because the organization urged them to?

You gotta be crazy to think Golden State players want to play with Kevin Durant, especially after they lost a 3-1 lead in the finals.

They clearly wanted to redeem themselves with the same roster, but now they can't since Durant signed. So now they are a worst team, and they can never fully redeem themselves because their roster changed drastically.

Every golden state player has themselves said they not sure why kevin durant signed, but they wouldn't tell him not to come if he was begging to play with them. Draymond Green said these words. Klay thompson said he is suprised durant is on the team.

They both said they would NOT do what kevin durant did, but they welcome him to the team.

These are words of players being politically correct for the media and cameras. They do not want durant as teammate. In fact I believe their pissed he signed with them

TC, Ap
Nate Jones sounding scared. These guys were teammates and partners for 7 years, Russ isn't gonna get tricked into saying anything he doesn't mean if theyre still cool...

KD switched sides on his ex-teammates, period. I think everybody gets that...

Basically. That's the thing though. THese NBA media cats are in their feelings because they're so concerned with defending someone's 'right' to go elsewhere and also they're bending over backwards to stay in the good graces of all things Warriors that they miss the basic point: OKC treated KD like the franchise, held him up as the leader publicly (though I'm guessing Russ was the one with the most respect), and backed him whenever anyone questioned him at all even though he gut more kid glove treatment from the media than any other superstar while Russ, the heart of the squad, got consistently roasted in the media. Then they suffer a heartbreaking meltdown against GS, in large part because KD choked at the end of Game 6 and the first 45 minutes of game 7. Then this lame GOES TO THE TEAM HE CHOKED AGAINST. Its the lamest, most beta free agent move in NBA history. No hyberbole. Then it comes out that this nikka was cavorting with Draymond and GState players during the season and in the playoffs. So they're so called leader was already thinking about going to Gstate when he choked against them. Then everything he says about GState is about how great the guys there are, how much he has to learn from them about basketball, yada yada yada. Since he only has his OKC experience to compare it to, of course these hypercompetitive NBA players/coaches take that stuff as a shot against them. They shouldn't have any respect for him as a competitor after all this nonsense.
