No one really knows what it's like to be a Knick fan the constant heartbreak is terrible. Not only have they not won in forever they tease you just to fall short and break your heart in the most heartwrenching fashion.
I was 10 when I realized that your faovrite team going to the finals doesn't automatically mean championship. My real first devastation in sports was the Knicks in 94. shyt every year I would tell everyone who would listen that the Knicks could beat the Bulls with MJ but nope it never happened.
I've always said a goal of mine is to see everyone of my teams celebrate a championship in the Canyon of Heros and the only one holding me back is the fukking Knicks.
The Yankees have won 5 World Series since i've been a fan and I enjoyed and went to everyone of there parades.
shyt the Giants have won 4 since I've been born but to be honest I've only appreciate 2 of them. 1990 I remember about it but can't really remeber the game. But none the less I've watched them make one of the most improbable runs in playoff history and it was great. Also went to the parade.
shyt even the fukkin Rangers who were supposivly cursed and had not won since 1940 won a cup when I was lunatic hockey fan. Of course I went to the parade. I was 10 and brought a cup wrapped in tin foil representing the Stanley cup and rubbed it in the face of all the Islander fans it was literally glorious.
I have all this greatness in sports but one thing is constant the Knicks will fukk me over. Is it to much to ask for 1 championship? Just fukking 1. That's all I ask for. I don't want to die with out experiencing my favorite basketball team winning. None of you guys really know how bad we have it you truly dont.
None the less I will get excited for every basketball season and watch the Knicks in full force because that's what a loyal true fan does. I've fukking watched and had to root for fukking Shandon Anderson and Lavar Postell do you realize how hard that is? I've had to root for fukking Dave Brown and felt less disgusted. I just truly feel sick to my stomach.
