I stopped really caring about sports like that over 5 years ago honestly. It's kinda silly for an adult to allow the outcome of a silly game to alter their mood. Plus all these players are morons with horrible tats that can barely speak coherently. It's actually pretty funny.

You'd feel better about rooting for athletes if they were more eloquent and didn't have tattoos?

No one really knows what it's like to be a Knick fan the constant heartbreak is terrible. Not only have they not won in forever they tease you just to fall short and break your heart in the most heartwrenching fashion.
:wtf:

They haven't done anything close to that since 1999. That's 14 years ago. This year they were only in the 2nd round. And it wasn't even a game 7. Knicks fans need to learn how to temper their expectations and stop overhyping their team.

The tattoos speak to a feeble mindset I have trouble respecting. I feel the same way about gauged ears and septum piercings. The word is filled mostly with douchebags and its on full display in sports and entertainment.

Obviously I'm not literally going to throw up you dikkwad. But yes I'm upset that my favorite team lost. If you can't comprehend that maybe you should talk a long walk off a short pier and do us all a favor.

Ok so it was 14 years ago does that mean it doesn't matter or that, that shyt doesn't linger? No they didn't get out of the 2nd round but should I not have felt that they were a shoe in for ECF maybe not but I don't think that was to much to ask for.

There's people who have never seen any of their favorite hometown squads even sniff a title. I ain't never feelin sorry for no damn NY sports fan, if it gets that bad put on a fukking Yankees/Giants cap and call it a day

If you've been a Yankees fan, be happy that money got you all those 'ships since there's no real hard money cap in baseball. (to back that up, yankees have paid 91% of all luxury tax collected by the mlb). But don't let that cloud expectations for other sports ventures!

Broadly speaking, at some point, all teams will get their chance (except the Cubs, I would like to die having them not won anything. :lolbron:) sooner or later. It's just a matter of time. Our national pro sports are still young, having maybe an avg of 80 year histories across all of them. And many of them try to build dynasties and so on that will last long times. The Bulls basically owned the 90s, and that's ten years outta luck. The Celtics and Lakers went at it for so long. Heck, look at the Giants, they've been competing most of the past 10 years. The Pats are last decade's biggest c*nts.

In a big market like NY, it's bound that one of your teams succeed in their respective sport. And yeah, that will entail many heartaches. But the journey getting there, that's the best part. Cherish these times, for like the 90s, you can go irrelevant soon after.
